Closeups in Hollywood By Milton Harker (Copyright, 1938, by International News Serrice) Hollywood, Dee, 15-Having terminated their contracts with Warner Brothers by mutual consent, Dick Powell and Joan Blondell leave Hollywood for a second honeymoon shortly after January 1, Married two years ago last September, they have never been able to take a vacation together because if one were free the other was working. The secretary, Thomas L. Husselton, writing in the chamber's official bulletin, conceded that "crowds of visitors are our life blood." "But," he added, "when those crowds become so dense that even the most gregarious individual has difficulty enjoying himself, then the saturation point has been reached." Mayor C. D. White, a hotelman, joined Mr. Husselton in advocating the fee idea.
