(Baker) Petry, age 86, of Rich for possession of ephedrine and anhydrous ammonia, both precursors for methamphetamine. The charges are aggravated because they also had a gun in the car. All four appeared in court Wednesday, but their initial hearing was continued for 72 hours. They were returned to jail. Bond was set at $10,000 each.

"We know the SUV was registered to one of the four we arrested," Sheriff Jay Harris said. All four of those arrested were from small towns clustered in eastern Tennessee north of Knoxville. Harris pointed out in a news release, that though the two men share a name, the Stephen M. Conner who was arrested is in no way related to the pastor of the Clear Creek Christian Church north of here. The Tennessee license plate stuck in the mind of Sgt.

Michael Hubbard. At about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning Sgt. Hubbard was on routine patrol in the southwestern corner of Randolph County He saw a small black car with a Tennessee plate turn off of County Road 900 South onto Indiana 1. The intersection is less than a mile from the Co-op where the SUV was abandoned and found.

Sgt. Hubbard pulled the small black car over. The ingredients for methamphetamine were inside. So were the four people who were arrested. They are Stephen M.

Four people from Tennessee are in jail here accused of planning to make methamphetamine. Investigators think they came here to steal anhydrous ammonia, the liquid fertilizer needed to make methamphetamine, a commonly abused stimulant. Police think they didn't come just once. They think they came twice. On Easter Sunday morning Randolph County Sheriff's deputies found an SUV with a Tennessee license plate stuck in a ditch at the Harvest Land Co-op on U.S.

36 and County Road 900 South near Losantville. The car was impounded and towed to the Randolph County Jail. Tanks of anhydrous ammonia were found inside. Several fishhooks had to be extracted as medics treated her other injuries. Wilson, a children's protection services worker here, was heading home after a day working with the Franklin County office. Police said she had apparently dozed off or lost consciousness, causing the car to leave the road. She was flown by helicopter from the scene to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
