Her brother, Bobby, former -Casa Grande Union High School student, participated in the ritual as an escort for Vicky Miles, one of the ten candidates for the title. Bobby is now a sophomore at Sherman High. A Papago Indian, Miss Sotelo is a junior varsity cheerleader and active in Arts and Crafts. In commenting on her selection as Homecoming Queen, she said, "I couldn's believe it. I felt really scared, i didn't think I'd win because been here for a couple of months and I hardly know anybody; When she said my name I almost fell because I just felt so wesk."
