Miss Banks has selected to study at the Sorbonne in Paris for one year. She has studied at the University of Dijon in France in the summer of 1970 and this summer will study at the University of Oaxaca in Mexico after touring the country. She graduated with honors from Las Vegas High In 19G7 where she was president of the Spanish Club, vice president of Future Teachers of America, co-chairman of Interscholastic Committee and member of the National Committee Honor Society. Miss Banks was state winner of the U.S.

Tutor, Superintendent of Education, there are several vacancies in the Mendenhall School area and in several of the other schools. "If you are interested in driving a school bus," he said, "please call the office of the County Superintendent, 847-1562." The bus drivers are receiving a small increase in salary for next year which will bringtheir salary to $135 per month. Carl Tolbert and the Rev. Zollie McAlpin officiating. Interment was held at Macedonia Cemetery. Upton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The Simpson County resident was born April 2, 1898 and was a member of Pearl Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Pat Grubbs, Jackson, and Allen Grubbs, Mendenhall; one brother, Alanzo Brown, Mendenhall; and seven grandchildren. MRS. ANNIE DELL BERRY Mrs. Annie Dell Berry, 68-year-old Jackson resident, died June 14, 1971 at Hinds General i Hospital in Jackson. Services were held at Upton Funeral Home Wednesday, June 16, 1971 at 2 p.m.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. from White Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Quinton Floyd, the Rev. Zollie McAlpin, the Rev. Herman Milner, officiating.
