From With summer only a few weeks away, May activities at the YWCA are in full bloom. From slimming to swimming, physical fitness to tennis, the State Street YWCA has many programs scheduled to begin April 30 May 25. An extensive physical fitness program which includes slimnastics, jogging, yoga, water exercise and recreational swimming will meet daily Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon.

All are available for $12 per month; Other exercise classes to begin the week of April 30 are gymnastics with sessions for preschool, teens, and adults; figure toning; slimnastics; and a special noon time exercise class for those with limited hours. Hatha Yoga will be offered this session also. The May dancing program at the YWCA will also begin the week of April 30. Classes will be offered in ballet, disco, Egyptian Dance, and ballroom dance for beginners, advanced beginners, and advanced. Modeling will be available this session with tips on hair style, clothing, make-up, poise and posture.

Tennis and karate will be taught during the May session. Several class times are available, and the classes meet once a week for four weeks.
