Charles Peterson, 21. 91fi N. Blaine was accused of the Dec. 8 burglary of a Turner Street home.

Peterson admitted that he broke into the home of Krma Lee Green to get money. Police reports indicate that a neighbor who saw Peterson throwing a brick through a window at the residence called police, notified them of a burglary in progress and then chased Peterson. The neighbor iden-tifed Peterson as the culprit. Judge Robert L. Barnet Jr.

accepted the guilty plea and set sentencing for May 20. The standard sentence (or a class felony is 10 years, to which 10 years may be added lor aggravating circumstances or four years subtracted for mitigating circumstances. Charged is Billy N. Grimm. 4100 N.

Wheeling Ave. The charge was filed after the prosecutor's office received a letter and a five-page offense report from the commissioner of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The bureau compiled arrest and conviction reports dating back to 1973, all under Grimm's name. Grimm has at least 24 speeding convictions and several for driving with a suspended license. The convictions are not just Irom Indiana: Grimm has one each from Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina and Michigan.

Under Indiana statute, the suit is filed as a civil matter. Grimm must in a May hearing show that he is not the person named in the information from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, or show that he is not an habitual traffic offender. If that is proven, the case will be dismissed. If that is not proven, Grimm (aces a lo-year suspension of his driver's license. If the license is suspended and the offender is caught driving, that is a class felony, punishable by up to four years in prison.
