W. C. Beard 54 Inferred Friday Funeral services were held for Mr. Warren Columbus Beard, 54, of RFD Brandon, on foiday afternoon, June 7th, at 2:30 from the Morton Baptist Church with the Rev. J.

W. Maxie officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles Hollifield. Interment will be in the Hodge Hill Cemetery in Scott County with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in charge. Mr.

Beard pased away Thursday in the University Hospital in Jackson. He was a member of the Andrew Chapel Methodist Church in Brandon. The survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Lucy Barr of "Jackson, Mrs. Sadie Mae Craine of Jackson, and Mrs.

Bettie Jean Phillips of Brandon; three sons, Willette Beard, J. C. Murphy, both of Brandon, and Billy Ray Beard of Baton Rouge, nineteen grandchil dren; 1 sister, Mrs. Clifford Johnson of Knoxville, five brothers, Jim and Fount Beard, both of Vicksburg, Frank Beard of Laurel, and Mack Beard of Morton, and Jeff Beard of Brandon; and his Mother, Mrs. Eula Beard of Brandon.

Pallbearers were Earl Henderson, D. Henderson, Freddie Johnson, Ray McCrory, Billy Beard, and Verne McCrory.
