Ph. 289-1155 tt 6th South lison St. yk Madison Board member David Northcutt said that maintaining qualified personnel was a problem that Ridgeville had In common with other towns of its size. The town's sewage system is old and needs more and more repairs as time goes on, he said. Mock said that sewage superintendent Jim Morris was doing the town a great favor by working in the department when he could retire.

Mock said it would be difficult to fill Jim's position since the salary he receives is not enough for a family to live on. There will be a public meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Lions Club Building to discuss obtaining funds to bring a doctor into Ridgeville. Northcutt said the board was hopeful a doctor could be brought into town by the first of November.

He also asked for help to move some office equipment this weekend and added that space is needed to temporarily store the equipment for the doctor's office. Leaf pickup will begin October 6. Leaves must be bagged and placed along the curb. The next board meeting will be 6:30 p.m., Oct. 2.

RIDGEVILLE A new sewage ordinance was accepted by the Ridgeville town board Thursday, raising the town's sewage rate 15 percent. The old rate of $7.20 for the first 2,000 gallons will be raised to $8.28 In about 30 days. Board members said they had received almost no objections to the new rate. Town resident Wallace French asked the board why they had so many employees working In the various town departments. He felt there were too many bosses in each department and they were not producing as much work as they should.

Board president William Mock told French that there were only six people on the town's payroll; all the rest are paid through the CETA program. He added that the people in the department could only do so much with the limited funds the town has available. Mock said board members didn't feel they could make any cuts in personnel. One of the present town employees, Dale Haymer, will be leaving the water and sewage department at the i i i 1 N0r i Sotxlal CHICKEN SUPREME 0 vi BOO CHICKEN tram 4iM p.m. MKIO POTATO $4)70 Oil AHOSAIAO Petite Buttertl) Fillet J6.95 IllWt tins.
