Borham, 86, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered into eternal life Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at Harmony Assisted Living Facility in Stevens Point. Paul was surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services.

The funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Joseph Catholic Borham Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Al Burkhardt officiating. Burial will follow in St.

Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Funeral Home and again from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services Monday at the church.

A Bible vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the National Parkinson's Foundation, Ministry Home Care Hospice Services and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Paul was born Jan.

21, 1919, in Greenwood to the late Paul Albert and Ada (Needham) Borham. He graduated from Central State Teachers College in 1941 with a degree in secondary education. On Nov. 29, 1941, Paul was married to his best friend, Grace Klein, at St. Peter's Rectory in Stevens Point.

She survives. From 1943 to 1945, Paul was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force. He later taught history at Granton High School, worked with the State of Wisconsin Employment Office and was employed at Sentry Insurance. Paul felt the need I and obligation to serve his community and became politically active within Stevens Point and Portage County.

He served as an alderman from 1961 until being elected mayor in 1969, a position he held through 1975. He also was a Portage County Board Supervisor from 1985 to 2000. Paul considered the develop- OBITUARIES ment of area housing for the elderly and low- residents, as well the purchase and development of land for the Stevens Point Industrial Park as his most important accomplishments during his political career. In 1989, a street in the Stevens Point Industrial Park was named Borham Avenue. Paul also devoted significant time to various area organizations, including Boy Scout Troop 294, Meals on Wheels, CAP Services, the Stevens Point Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Knights of Columbus, the Catholic Family Movement and St.

Joseph's Holy Name Society. He also was proud to a be an usher at St. Joseph's Parish. Along with his wife, Paul is survived by eight children, Barbara (Clarence) Przybylski, Stevens Point, Paul Borham III, Houston, Mimi Johnson, Stevens Point, Don (Vicki) Borham, Tucson, Peg (Bradd) Price, Merrill, Bonnie (Bruce) Cordy, Hixson, James (Marcia Piazza) Borham, Newark, Ohio, and Carol (Kurt) Grasamkee, Plover; and one daughter-in-law, Sue Borham, Houston. He also leaves behind 30 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by a son, Robert Borham; son-in-law, Richard Johnson; daughter-in-law, Mary Sue Borham; and two infant sons, along with two brothers and a sister. George B. Siler George B. Siler, 87, of Hancock, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, Sept. 22, 2005, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.

He was born Dec. 12, 1917, in Shanghai, China, the son of Dr. Charles and Dr. Marion L. (Pierce) Siler.

He was married to Lois Lipman Soeurt on Oct. 6, George 1967, in Montreal, Siler Canada. Dr. Siler was raised in China where his parents were Congregational Med- ical Missionaries. When he was 11 years old, the family returned to the United States because of a revolution in China.

He then lived with his family in Oak Park, Ill. He graduated from Oberlin College and Northwestern University. Dr. Siler was employed as a physician for the Standard Oil Co. in Whiting, and subsequently as the Medical Director for the Chicago Transit Authority.

George served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Dr. Siler was an active and faithful member of the United Church of Christ in Hancock. He is survived by his wife, Lois Siler, Hancock; four children, Anne (John) Meronk, Plainfield, Nancy Soeurt, Beloit, Jeannette (Monty) Curtis, Georgetown, Texas, and Elaine (Craig) Hunt, New Canaan, eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret (Don) Faust, Claremont, two brothers, Charles (Dorothy) Siler, Racine, and David Siler, Watseka, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Drs. Charles A. and Marion L. Siler; and one sister, Marion Siler. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.

Monday at the United Church of Christ, Hancock, with the Rev. Diane Fite officiating and the Rev. James Rivers providing special music. Burial will be in the Fish Lake (Parker) Cemetery, Hancock. Family and friends may call from 1 p.m.

Ralph S. Kawleski Ralph S. Kawleski, 76, of 909 Koch Stevens Point, died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.

Portage County Accident: An 18-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man and a 15- year-old Wisconsin Rapids girl were injured in a rollover on Griffith Avenue about a third of a mile from 90th Street at 12:07 p.m.

Sept. 20. The man was driving when he lost control of the car, overcorrected and rolled it, a report said. Speed played a factor, a report said. Stevens Point Theft: A ground pounder, valued at $1,300, was reported taken from outside a home in the 3600 block of Stanley Street at 1:36 p.m.

Sept. 22. Burglary: A 48-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for burglary on Sept. 22 for an incident in which she broke into a home in the 3600 block of Simonis Street on Sept. 18 and took a woman's wallet.

Accident: A 51-year-old Fort Atkinson man was injured after the motorcycle he was on at a stop sign at the corner of North Second Street and Crosby Avenue was struck by a 26-year-old Friendship man who was turning the corner at 7:33 p.m. Sept. 20. Monday The Portage County Finance Committee meets at 4 p.m. in Conference Room 5 at the Portage County Annex.

until time of service Monday. Ralph was born May 17, 1929, to the late Stanley and Bertha Kawleski. He grew up and worked on the family farm in the town of Eau Pleine. Ralph went into U.S. Army on Aug.

8, 1952, and became a military policeman. Ralph received the United Nations Service Medal, NationalDefense Service Medal, Korean Service Ribbon with two Bronze Campaign Stars, Merit Unit Commendations and a Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation. He was honorably discharged on June 30, 1954. Ralph was married to Jean Hobbs on July 2, 1955, in Stevens Point. He worked for the Paper Mill as trimmer man until his retirement in 1995.

Ralph enjoyed fishing, mechanical repair, wood working with furniture and reading. Survivors include his wife, Jean Kawleski of Stevens Point; daughters, Kathryn Kawleski and Cheryl Kawleski, both of Stevens Point; a brother, Clifford Kawleski of Junction City; and nieces and nephews. Ruesch, 89, of 10833 Highway Milladore, died at his home on Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, surrounded by his family. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore.

Visitation will be from 4 Monday at Funeral Home in Junction City and again from 9:30 a.m. until time of the services Tuesday at the church. There will be a combined rosary service with St. Wenceslaus Parish and the Knights of Columbus No. 4646 of Junction City at 7:30 p.m.

Monday at the funeral home. Agnes J. Donermeyer, 90, formerly of Stevens Point, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at St. John's on the Lake Nursing Home in Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to the time of services Monday at St. Joseph Church in the gathering space. The Shuda Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. A memorial, in lieu of flowers, will be established in her name for Catholic Charities or a charity of your choice.

A memorial Mass will be scheduled for her at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee at a later date. Agnes was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Stevens Point to the late Michael and Catherine (Lang) Donermeyer. She attended local schools and graduated from P.J.

Jacobs High School in 1932. She then graduated from St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du Lac and later from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Agnes served her country in World War II in the Nurse Corps. She retired from the City of Milwaukee Health Department as a public health nurse.

She was a member of the Jane Delano Post No. 408 in Milwaukee. She is the much beloved aunt of -Mary Ann (Larry) Welp, Juneau, Alaska, Donald Donermeyer, Springfield, Carol (Erv) Sommers, Plover, Thomas (Mary) Donermeyer, Auburn, Kitty (Tom) Schuler, Greendale, Mary (Dr. Michael) Stevens, Marshfield, Mary Knudsen, Oshkosh, Henry Faust, Glendale, and Dr. Michael Faust, Milwaukee; and many great- and great-greatnieces and nephews along with many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence (Ruby); and eight sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mary, Florence, Helen, Dorothy, Kathryn, Margaret (Henry) Bannach, Eva (Lawrence) Beier and Louise (Conrad) Faust. Agnes J. Donermeyer Man drowns in Sugar Camp Lake The Associated Press SUGAR CAMP A 45- year-old man drowned in Sugar Camp Lake, the Oneida County Sheriff's Department said Friday. Kelly Martin's body was found floating in the water at a public beach about 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sheriff Jeff Hoffman said.

"We do not have any reason at this point to suspect foul play," Hoffman said. "It appears that he may have been swimming." Sugar Camp is about 13 miles north of Rhinelander.
