Carlisle Taken By Death Elias King, 88, native of Germany, died at his home, 251 S. West Tuesday afternoon at 1:25 o'clock. He had been confined to St.

Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton, i for three weeks while receiving treatment for a complication of diseases but was removed home Saturday. Mr. King came to the United States when a young man and had resided ia the house where he died for more than sixty-two years. He was employed as a stone mason for many years. He was a member of the "First Lutheran Church.

He is survived by Ms widow, Mrs. Helen Griesbaum King; two sons, Joseph and George, of Xenia; a daughter, Miss Kate King, at home, and two grandsons, John and Charles Funeral services will be conducted at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the home Thursday afternoon or evening. THOMAS COAN Thomas Coan, 60, died suddenly at his home, 325 Cincinnati Tuesday evening at 8:15 o'clock- Although 'he had been suffering from neuralgia for several days ho appeared in his usual health Tuesday but was stricken with a heart attack shortly after retiring.

Mr. Coan was born in Madison County April 4, 1874 but had resided in Xenia fifteen years. His marriage to Miss Mary Ellen Rachford, of this city, took place October 22, 1919. He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church.

Besides his widow he leaves two brothers, Morton and Michael, and a sister. Miss Margaret Coan, all South Charleston. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Brigid Catholic Church Friday morning: at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in St.

Brigid Cemetery. Jamestown News Sunday, October 14, will be Rally Day at the M. E. Church. All members are urged to be present.
