Antj-Wcir Rally Peaceful BOISE (UP1) The "Weekend Against the War" and the festival of life rally came to a peaceful end Sunday; in Boise, with promises of more "happenings" to come during the summer months. Activities at the festival-based Julia Davis Park included a prayer vigil headed by William B. Laws moderator of the General Assembly of the United Presbyterian Church and a member of the Protestant delegation to the Paris Peace Talks in March. During the afternoon, 20-mile per hour winds and 48-degree temperatures could not keep away the 300 persons gathered to hear folksingers from the Boise area and the nation.

The Job Corps Band from Marsing also entertained the throng with hard rock music, followed by the folk musicians and a presentation by the Boise Free Theatre. The theatrical group presented a short play, and another concerning the Nuremburg Trials after World War Nationally known folksinger Phil Ochs appeared in (he late afternoon, singing his protest songs and lamenting the war in Vietnam. Booths were set up during this "Carnival of Change" at the park, including one for women's liberation and another for the local underground newspaper, the Boise Herald Tribune. Commenting on the Vietnam War, Lane said the "modern murder machine" built by the "architects of mass murder and genocide," is escalating the war. He noted technological advances by the United Slates military which are seriously endangering the chances of survival for the people of Vietnam.

Cecil Andrus received a letter protesting the resignation of State Aeronautics Director Chet Moulton from three southeastern legislators Saturday. The letter, from Sen.

Reed Budge, R-Soda Springs, and Reps. Angus Condie, R-Preston and Lloyd Dunn, R-Georgetown, charged that Moulton's dismissal was "apparently politically inspired" and indicated it would set back Idaho aviation for years fo come. The letter was apparently sent (o a numher of persons, asking them to write the governor if the recipients concurred with the letter, by April 27. The Stale Aeronautics Board had heen scheduled to meet April 27-28 In Boise but an unannounced session was called Thursday to accept Moulton's resignation. Rodeo Scheduled POCATELLO (UPI) The Idaho State I'niversify Rodeo Bombing Suspect Arrested BOISE, Idaho (UPI) Boise City Police arrested a man Sunday in connection with the March 20 bombing of a narcotics agent's car in which the agent's husband received minor Injuries.

Ada County Prosecuting Attorney James Rlsch said Craig T. Roolcc, 23, Boise, has been booked into the county jail and charged with "assault with a deadly weapon with intent to commit murder." Risen said Rooke was taken into custody at his home, 323 Broad Boise. Fifteen officers participated in the arrest, and the suspect offered no resistance. Rooke is charged with the bombing of John Anthony's car. Anthony was driving to an Army Reserve meeting when Hie bomb exploded under the passenger seat, blowing the (op of the car off and shattering all the vehicle's windows.

Anthony's wife, Pamela, 23, was an undercover agent for the Boise Police Department at the time. Slide Blocks Road LEWISTON, Idaho (UPI) The lewis-Clark Highway has been closed six miles east of the Lowell ranger station in north- central Idaho because of a massive rock and mud slide Sunday. Ralph Stone, Lewiston, district supervisor for the Idaho State Highway Department, said the slide on U.S Highway 12 is about 200 feel long and 15 feet deep and has completely shut off travel between Missoula, and central Idaho towns. Director Named BOISE (UPl)-Glenn W. Nichols, Boise, has been appointed director of the State Planning and Community Affairs Agency effective April 25. Gov.

Cecil D. Andrus made the announcement Saturday and also appointed Mrs. Mary Wai. ker, Twin Falls to the Idaho Commission on arts and humanities. Nichols leaves his post as coordinator of specialprograms lor the office of executive director for high education, state of Idaho, for the new position.

Cooking Class For Children Starts Tuesday NAKPA- A five-session cooking class for children of low-income families will begin Tuesday afternoon at the Narapa Opportunity Center in Lakevlew Park, sponsored by the Canyon County Action Program. Classes will beconductedeach Tuesday from 4 to 5 p.m. for five weeks. Students from a Northwest Nazarene College nutrition class will serve as aides. Francis C. Feeny NAMPA Requiem Mass for Francis Gerald Feeny, 67, 503 14th Ave. who died Friday at a Nampa hospital, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St.

Paul's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Henry Me- Closkey, S.M., as celebrant. Interment will be at Dry Creek Cemetery near Boise. Rosary devotions will be at 8 p.m, today at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Mr.

Feeny was born Jan. 28, 1S04, In Silver City, Idaho, and attended schools at Silver City and Wilson, Idaho. He married Irene Agnes Cummins of Melba on Oct. 25, 1925 at Portland, Ore. They lived in Portland for a year, retumlngto Melba where they resided until 1937, and then came to Nampa where he had since resided.

He was employed as a carpenter for Guerdon Industries In Boise until 111 health forced his retirement in 1965. Mr. Feeny was a member of St, Pauls Catholic Church, He Is survived by Ms wife, Mrs. Irene Agnes Feeny, Nampa; one daughter, Mrs. James (Irene) Boldon, Boise; two brothers, Thomas Feeny, Glenns Ferry, and Robert Feeny, Boise; one sister, Mrs, Mable Me- Dermott, Boise; three granddaughters, Mrs.

Indiana died this morning at a local nursing home following an extended illness. Services are pending at the Dakan Funeral Chapel. Mary E. Osborne CALDWELL- Mrs. Mary E.

Osborne, 81, of Wilder, died Sunday in a Caldwell nursing home. She was born 7, 1884, in Gray Comity, Ontario, Canada. She was reared there and was married to William J. Osborne on Dec. 31,1902, at Flesh- erlon, Ontario, Canada.

They homesteaded in Saskatchewan, Canada, for four years. They moved to Wilder in 1908, where they homesteaded a farm and since had resided. Mr. 'Osborne died Nov. 21, 1957.

She is the last charter member of the Golden Gale Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Carlson and Mrs. Olive Applegate, both of Wilder, Mrs. Violet Smith andMrs.

Lillian Brewer, both of Boise; 12 grandchildren and 26 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Walter, Earl and Ernest, and by five brothers. Services will be conducted it 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, officiating will be the Rev. John Senn of the Golden Gate Baptist Church, Wilder.

Interment will be at the Wilder Cemetery. Memorials may begiventothe Golden Gate Baptist Church. Clara Cruse EMMETT Clara Christine Cruse, 92, of Emmelt, died Friday evening al a Nampa nursing home. She was born April 9, Copenhagen, Denmark. She moved with her parents to Missouri in 1880.

In 1905, she moved to Boulder, and in 1917, to Buhl. She came to Emmett in 1919 and since had lived there, She was married to Richard M. Cruse in 1905 at Boulder. He died in 1947. She was amemberofthePres- byterian Church, the Needle and Thread Clubandthe Progressive Club.

Survivors include a son, Lenn B. Cruse of Nampa; a sister, Mrs. Lena Snow of Boulder; two brothers, William Kelson of Hemelt, and James Nelson of Loma Linda, Calif. Services will be conductedat2 p. m.

Tuesday at the Beafty Chapel in Emmett by the Rev. Norman Naugler of the United Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at the Emmett Cemetery. Reimann was born March 19, 1922, at American Falls. He attended schools In Mountain View near American Falls and enlisted In the Air Force on March 11, 1946. He served nfne months In Okinawa and was honorably discharged on March 10, 1949, He married Dorothy Bum- Earner on Oct. 16, 1914, at Strange, Neb. They lived in Nebraska, where he farmed at Alexandria and Brum'ng.

AH four of their children were born in the state. In 1955, (hey moved (o Caldwell where he was engaged in dairying and farming and also did carpentry work. He was baptized in the Lutheran Church as an infant. He was a member of the Caldwell Methodist Church and had been a member of a riding club in Nebraska. Surviving are liis wife, of Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs.

Judy Schmitt of Milwaukie, and Trudy Reimann, at home; two sons, Lewis W.Reimann and Henry William Reiman, both at home; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reimann of Caldwell, aod two grand children. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister. Myers CALDWELL Services for 'f.

Myers was born July 9, 1902, at Lamar, Colo. He came to Idaho in 1909, settling in the Middleton area and living on the same farm since coming here. He married Alta Hulbert on March 1, 1926, at Boise. Surviving are his wife, of Caldwell; three daughters, Mrs, Jo Ann Endecolt of Middleton, Mrs. Roberta Thomas of Cambridge andMrs.

Velma Anderson Myers of Frenchtown, Clinton Myers of Pulton, and Duane Myers of Cambridge; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Ihll w6 Mrs, Ralph Colvard, both of Caldwell, Mrs. Fern Trunnellof Notus and Mrs. Fay Blonshlne of Priest River; a brother, Andy Myers of Nampa, and 22 grandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death, Contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund.

14, 1890, Webster County, Mo. He was reared in Missouri and married TriffieeantreirorfOet. It, 1915; in Marshfield, iMo. The couple moved to Idaho in 1935--Hvedin the Boise and Meridian area. Later, they moved to Wilder, where they since had resided.

He attended the First Baptist Church oi Wilder. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Elston of Boise, Wayne; Dale and John, all of Rupert; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Tomlin, Mrs. Lorene Whitington, Mrs. Shirley Holderness and Mrs.

Amu Jane Mitchell, all of Boise, and Reba McDonald of Kennewick, Mrs. Bessie Burkey of Springfield, 48 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Lester. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday atlheDakanFu- neral Chapel.
