Ronald L. Ziegler, the presidential press secretary, made his comment in reply to a question on whether Nixon had informed the Soviets--via the hot line--that he was sending troops. into Cambodia. He first said Nixon had mil used the hot line, a direct teletype circuit between the White House and the Kremlin. He then added that neither side had used it since January 1969. Pair Arrested In Theft of Empty Bottles GOLDEN (AP)-Two Jefferson County men were in custody today as suspects in the thefl of collectible Jim Bean bottles valued at S10,000. after a woman -- who said she was robbed of a $2,000 bottle--gave police a description. The two were identified as Gordon Thomas, 33. of Arvada,. and Terry E. Lepke, 21, of rural Golden. They were being held for investigation of aggravated robbery. Detectives who arrested the' two at Thomas' home said they found a collection of 36 Jim Beam bottles. A u l h o r i l i p s said Mrs. Jane*' Williams of Westminster said;, the two came to her home and/ lold her they were delivering some colleclors' bottles to her., husband. She said when they came into, t h e house they inquired about .the location of a specific type of bottle, and when she poin!- .ed it out lo them, one of the men pulled a gun. taped her .hands and feet, took the bottle, and fled. Glenwood Firm Gets Emission Stop Command DENVER (AP) - The Colorado Health Department has ordered the Besic Chemical Corp. at Glenwood Springs to halt emission of excessive air contaminants by Sunday. Dr. Roy L. Cleere, slate h e a l t h director, said company officials were told that emission standards were being vlo- lalc'd, following an inspection of the plant last Nov. 7. Cleere said since then "excessive dust ronlinuos lo be emitted from t h r e e smokestacks."
