So did a lot of'other people but few of tlierri are 102 years old andj still holding public office. Alexander is serving his third four-year term as Clinton County probate judge and ex-officio magistrate; His office was filled with flowers and cards as friends remembered him on his birthday. But the judge didn't shorten his usual 8-to-5 hours for the occasion. . At midmorning he was busy jpounding away on his typewriter. He uses a modified hunt-and-peck system. .
