The group assembled at the school on Saturday morning and traveled by convoy to the picnic grounds, the cubs and the fathers present started n softball same. The winners could not be determined accurately since the teams selected by Cubcrs Frank Holden and J. C. Moore failed io make arrangements foi a scorckeeper. Both teams claimed ictors. During the ball game, mothers of the Pack prepared tables for unches and participants experienced no difficulty in consuming five cases of cold drinks and practically all food on the table. Some )oys boasted of having consumed ifx or seven cold drinks. After lunch, teams were chosen o play fox and hound. By the ime the foxes had been hounds .ml the hounds had been foxes, ime was approaching to break amp and head back to 1^3 Cru!S. The group was policed Lhoi-ough- by cubbers, and at about he group started back home. One added attraction that was ot anticipated by the group was demonstration by a picniccr of model airplane flying around in ircles on tho end of a fine steel ire.
