Among Die more significant are $1,000 more for the producer, $1,250 more for the purse, $2.700 more for maintenance of the rodeo grounds and arena, $250 more for the clowns and bullfighters, $500 more for advertising and $500 more for rental of the arena. The increase for the producer and the purse came at the an- nual Hodeo Cowboys Association meeting in Denver in January. And, according to hoard memher Vern Cobb, "the ItCA «ill probably raise us again next year. With Hie revised budget the hoard anticipates expenditures of S-13,300 and revenue totalling S43.000. They arc hopeful the remaining $300 deficit will be wiped out by the arena seating repair budget. They estimate S2.500 is needed lo'repair the seals but some on Ihe boant fee) that is too high.
