36 GREELEY (Colo.) TRIBUNE Fit. May 27,1977 Anne Lindbergh interview scheduled by IHOMAS JOSEPH By JOAN HAN.WER V PI Television Writer NEW YORK (UP1) - Spend an hour with Aane Morrow Lindbergh and the time seems to fly by, leaving the viewer with a deep insight into the extraordinary scenery of her mind. The widow of Charles A. Lindbergh, a best-selling author in her own right, sat apparently relaxed in the living room of her Connecticut home last winter to be interviewed by Eric Sevareid. The result can be seen on "Conversations With Eric Sevareid," on CBS May 27.8-9 p.m.. Eastern time. Mrs. Lindbergh, slim, with carefully tousled brown hair, looks much younger than her 71 years. With a wry twist to her mouth, in clear tones, she talks about her life with Lindbergh, what he was like, and what it is like to be his widow. Sevaride brings up Lindbergh's change in later life, when the environment became his mijor concern, and says "the phihxopher burled the technician." He asis her how UU changp ramft about "I think it was the war and the disillusionment with what the airplane had done to the earth. That's the war part of it. But also he ... he flew over the country a great deal and he was ... he was terrified and horrified by the way civilization and big cities had spread over what was country before and he was... he was... he just felt we were losing our country and our land and our ... the beauty of our land." And she says of Lindbergh, "I've thought a great deal about my husband since his death. It's a wonderful opportunity in a way, when a man dies. It's like a tree falling and you see the whole length of him. It isn't foreshortened, as when you are looking up. And you see all the different periods of his life."
