Susie was a wonderful and exotic cook. We will all miss her wontons and wings this and all future Christmas'. She had a whole hearted and vibrant laugh as she cocked her head and smiled at you. Our memories will hold the excitement she brought into a room as she had to tell us about a new recipe, a new band or a rare cover of a classic song. Susie dreamed of having her own restaurant or catering business where she could make people happy trying her unique sauces and blends of spices and herbs.

Her short career in that field gave her a real sense of purpose. Her happiest times of late were spent with her Grandson who always knew how to make his Grandma feel loved. She left us with many memories including the fact that the greeting "Hi!" always ended with an exclamation point.
