506 SALZMAN'S SHOE A I AND BOOT SHOP 9118th Ave. 352-2290 Dear Heloise: Have you ever asked yourself "What happened to the $15 I had day before yesterday?" Or, "Didn't I have $28 in my purse last week?" Sometimes you begin to think that your money must have sprouted wings and flown out of your pocketbook. What you need is "Utrackit," a system for keeping tabs on your income and outgo so you can answer your accusers who may say you are a reckless spender. "Utrackit" is very simple: All you need is an envelope and a piece of paper and something to write with. In the envelope go all cash register receipts, charge card duplicates, that your purse is filed with after an expedition to the city or the shopping center.

Then when you have time, and your mind is clear, record the results on paper as to what was spent for what. The beauty of this system is that all your charge slips, cash register receipts and memos are in one place. There is no more "What did I do The evidence is right there. If you keep your money record day by day, week by week, and month by month you can tell at a glance where the money went. "Utrackit" sometimes the might hurt! In this case, figures don't lie.

It's all there in black and Heloise Letter of Laughter Dear Heloise: You've heard the expression about things coming in threes? Well, in our house they come in dozens. First of all we started hearing music coming from our refrigerator. Well, while waiting for it to go into a song and dance, so we could go on TV and become wealthy it done us wrong. It conked out altogether. So we ordered a new that was a month ago and we're still waiting for delivery.

That wasn't bad enough, our so we had 80 gallons of hot water in our basement (an indoor swimming pool). Then my stove got jealous and took a powder. Since I don't like to cook, I didn't get mad at the stove because 1 figured my husband would take me out to dinner. Well, he did, he went down to the local hamburger spot and brought home hamburgers and French fries. I missed the boat again.

I almost forgot: we were watching our favorite baseball team and our antenna went the way of the other things. That was going a bit too far. There're bound to be happy days ahead! Anne Miner Dear Heloise: I am forever coming across ideas for using empty plastic bleach bottles but would so often become discouraged because it was so hard to cut them. Then my husband passed along a bit of good advice. He suggested that I fill the bottle with hot water before cutting and let it stand about 15 minutes.

Heloise, it cuts so much easier, it's hard to believe. Mrs. Bob Hinton True. cutting. empty it before Heloise Dear Heloise: If you have ever frantically chased an elusive fly with a fly swatter you will appreciate this hint of mine.

A fly can't go far with wet wings, so I spray it with window cleaner, usually while it is on a window or other surface that can be cleaned. Pick up the defenseless fly with a tissue or paper towel, and wipe window dry. Result: End of fly and a clean window! L. Rohrer Letter of Thought Dear Heloise: Here is a clipping that I cut out of our church paper which I thought you might like: So Little Time Fur God If one lives to be 70 years of Notice to Dog Owners in the Town of Evans 1(1711 dog licenses arc on sale at the Evans Town Hall.
