Born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on October 7, 1956, the beloved son of Nicholas John and Barbara Jennings Keltz Norante, Frank was a graduate of Knoch High School, Saxonburg, PA, and the University of Cincinnati, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Frank had a long and successful career in the insurance and financial industries. Frank prided himself on understanding the details of the technologies and practices of the industries he served, but most valued the friendships he developed with his clients and colleagues. Frank most recently worked for Aon Risk Solutions, an insurance brokerage and risk advisory firm. In 2006 Frank recognized a need to assist Aon in Canada to provide dedicated service to Canadian-based companies that do business in the United States.

This initiative was implemented and the "Canada Desk" was born. It has become such a success and an invaluable service that Aon offers to their clients, that in six years the "Canada starting with Frank alone, has grown to a unit of five within Aon. This was his passion, his baby and is his legacy at Aon. Frank enjoyed his life in Minnesota, especially the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, treasuring the time he spent on many trips to Canada and in Minnesota on the water and in camp with friends and family.

Frank was also proud of his skills in home renovation; he always had a project underway or in planning. He enjoyed entertaining friends and family, who always had an open invitation to visit. Frank is survived by his cherished wife J.J., his mother Barbara, and brother Nicholas J. Norante, both of Butler, PA, sisters Christine (Robert) Weyant of Wexford, PA, and Virginia (Tod) Schmidt of Twinsburg, OH, his niece Laura (Ben) Erdeljac, and nephews Robert Weyant and Nicholas M.
