Proxeda Sherfinski, 83. died Tuesday afternoon at a Wausau hospital. Until three months ago, she lived at Torun with her son, the Rev. Alois D. Sherfinski, who was pastor of St Mary's Catholic Church there.

Mrs. Sherfinski moved to Wausau after Father Sherfin-ski's death Aug. 2, and since then she had resided with another son, Sylvester. Funeral sen-ices will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St James' Catholic Church, Wausau.

A grandson, the Rev. Valery Pearce, O.F.M.. Mt. Calvary, will be the celebrant of a solemn requiem high mass. Weisbrod's death on March 13, 1934. Mrs. Weisbrod continued to live on the farm until 1942, when she moved to Polonia for seven years. After that she made her home with members of her family until her hospitalization. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs.
