25 at Gethsemane Cemetery, 763-537-4184. Christianson Keith R. Born Nov. 21, 1936 in St. Paul, MN, died too soon on Sept.

6, 2004 in Vancouver, WA, with loving friends, Don, Kathy, Carlos Diane. Keith was a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Philosophy. He was a fine musician (string bass and guitar) and also a teacher, mentor, artist manager and entrepreneur. Keith was a gifted developer of aspiring talent and guided two of his artists to national recognition with Top Ten recordings. He spent most of his life in the Twin Cities, but was also well-known in the music industry in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville.

Keith is survived by his brother, Robert of Anoka, MN; sister, Carolyn Gustafson of Fair Oaks, CA; son, Erik, and many friends. Memorials may be made to the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies, or the American Cancer Society. Gease Patricia (Pat), age 72, a resident of Crosslake, formerly of Crystal, died Aug. 23, 2004 at her home. Haben Thomas 57, Mpls, died at Fairview University Medical Center on Memorial service at Greenway Holmes Apts (Community Rm), 114 E. 5th St. SE, Mpls on Sat at 3 PM Hastings Mary Swanson Hastings, formerly of Austin, MN and Laguna Hills, CA, passed away Sept. 10, 2004 in Moorhead, MN at the age of 93. She was an outstanding sportswoman and championship golfer, avid gardener, and devoted and beloved wife and mother.

Her husband, Harold "Red" Hastings, legendary Austin High School coach, preceded her in death in 1989. She leaves son, Bob (Margaret "Pat" Mitchell) of Kenilworth, IL; daughter, Sue Hastings Bohle (John) of Sherman Oaks, CA, and son, John (Sheila Kenyon) of Fargo, ND. Among her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren is Minneapolis area resident granddaughter, Hillary Hastings Hutt (John). Interment will be with her husband in Buffalo, MN, Mary's childhood home. Washburn-McReavy Columbia Heights Chapel 763-789-4436 Hagen William Bernard Hagen of Fallbrook, California, aerospace engineer and father of eight, died Monday, September 6. He was 67. Bill was born in Slayton, MN, to parents Arvid and Margaret Andres Hagen. He was a graduate of Slayton High School and the University of Minnesota. In 1962 he joined the aerospace industry in California, a career he enjoyed for over 40 years, working on electro-optical technology for companies such as TRW, Servo-Optic Systems, Hughes Aircraft and Northrop Grumman.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Celia Ann and son Dean Andres. He is survived by Geraldine Gores Hagen; son Nick Hagen of Fallbrook; daughter Kirsten Jaeb of El Granada, CA; daughter Cyndi Hart of Grantsville, Utah; son Karl Hagen of Webster, NY; daughter Sue Hagen of Fresno, CA; son Kevin Hagen of San Francisco, CA; sisters Marcia Farinacci and Margie Robinson of St. Paul; and nine grandchildren. Bill was active in his church community, enjoyed bridge, basketball, hiking, singing, restoring Mustangs, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and shopping at Costco. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, colleagues and members of his community.

Paul, age 66, on August 28, 2004. Preceded in death by parents, Daniel "Earl" and Claire Carroll, sister and brother-in-law, Claire and Richard Dopkins, and brother, C. Jerome Carroll. Survived by nephews, Michael, Mark, Steven and Greg Dopkins; other relatives and friends. Richard was extremely active in the Boy Scouts of America.

He was a registered member of the Boy Scouts for 52 years, serving in many troop, district and council positions, and was a Silver Beaver Award recipient. He was also very active in the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's National Honor Society, where he received the National Order of the Arrow Distinguished Service Award in 1988. Richard was a long-time member, curator, and the current executive director of the North Star Museum of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting. He provided outstanding leadership to the museum for the past 12 years. Skip accepted the challenge of cancer as he lived his life with spirit, integrity, and selflessness.

He never lost the child within him, inspiring children, family, and friends with his loyalty, playfulness, and warmth. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he enriched. A Vietnam veteran, Skip began his career as a child care worker and probation officer.

He soon entered the field of technology and thrived in that industry for 22 years, applying his gifts of relationship building, sales, marketing, and business development to corporations including Apple Computer, Compaq, and Altiris. His pursuit of excellence and innovation earned him multiple recognitions and awards at the state and national levels. Although recent physical limitations prohibited him from seeing and conversing with many loving friends and family members, he wanted everyone to know how humbled and overwhelmed he was with the tremendous outpouring of cards, prayers, and love. Louise Hammerbacher was born January 19th, 1906 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, elder daughter of Karl and Anna (Sjoberg) Hammerbacher. 1914 her father left his position with the habidasher firm of McKibbon, Driscol Dorsey to homestead acreage on the Rogue River near Grants Pass, Oregon. After graduating from high School, Louise returned to Saint Paul to attend the University of School of Home Economics. During this time she lived with her aunt and her husband Louis E. Yoerg, owner of the pioneer Minnesota brewery.

In 1931 Louise was married to Saint Paul Dentist Dr. Clifford P. Bell. There were two children. Following her death in 1961, Louise was married to Ruben P.

Carlson (d.1986) and for several years made her home in Naples, Florida. In 1982 she and her husband returned again to Saint Paul, and lived for many years with her daughter. She was a founding member of Saint Episcopal Church in Naples, Florida, and member of the the Hamline Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She died September 16th 2004 at her residence in Walker Methodist Home, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret H.

Martin, of Boise, Idaho. She is survived by a son, Reverend Karl E. Bell, and a daughter, Donna B. Sperr; by seven grandchildren and one great grand daughter. Funeral arrangements to be announced.
