Helen Bradford was born August 16, 1940 in New York City. She graduated from The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York and from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She served on the board of Historic Mount Vernon in Alexandria, Virginia from 1982 to 1992 as vice regent for Minnesota, where she lived until she moved to San Francisco.

In San Francisco, she served on the board of Friends of Recreation and Parks in an ex-officio capacity as Chairman of the Landscape Garden Show in 1995 and 1996. She also served on the board of The Strybing Arboretum Society from 1996 to 2002. She was also a member of the Francisca Club and the California Tennis Club. Mrs. Bradford also had a home in Red Lodge, Montana, where she served on the advisory board of the Carbon County Historical Society.

Her children, David Mackay Bradford of Northampton, MA, Jennifer Sutherland Bradford of Portland, OR and Tyler Speir Bradford of San Francisco, CA, survive Mrs. Bradford. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Mackay Irwin of Toronto, Ontario and by her brother, John Mackay of Wayzata, MN. A memorial service will be held at the Kit Stewart Chapel at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 2515 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA 94115 on Friday, June 11 at 3:00 PM. Searles Robert L. Searles, age 85, of Wayzata MN and Boca Grande, FL on May 26. Survived by wife, Jessie, daughters, Judith S. Deane, Margaret S. Franchot, Elizabeth S.

Call if you need to know where to turn for help. Moore Robert M. "Bob" Moore, 84 of Hendersonville, NC, died June 7, 2004. A native of Minneapolis, he served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II and then returned to Minneapolis to work for Northwestern National Bank, now a part of the Wells Fargo System, where he spent his career.

He retired as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer and served as President of the Corporate Fiduciaries Association of Minnesota. An avid golfer, he and his wife Alice belonged to the Hazeltine National Golf Club. While in Minneapolis, he was active in community affairs. He helped to establish the Veterans Housing Association of Minneapolis, headed the Minnesota chapter of the American Lung Association and was especially active in the YMCA, where he served as the city-wide general chairman for sustaining membership campaigns. After retirement, he and Alice lived in Hendersonville for 23 years where he volunteered for many years as a set builder at the Hendersonville Little Theater and as a driver for Fish Volunteer Service.

He and Alice belonged to the Hendersonville Country Club. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice and by two sons and their families: Bob, his wife Linda, and their children Amy (husband Mark, sons Griff and Joe), Jessica, Katherine and Austin; and Jeff, his wife Kris, and their children Lindsay (husband Rich), Eric and Brigit. Friends are welcomed to join the family at a gathering at 4 PM Friday, June 11, 2004 in The Tile Pavilion at Melange, at 5th and Blythe Streets in Hendersonville, NC. She was raised in Shakopee, Minnesota and passed away on June 8, 2004. Known as Kathy, Kathleen, Dr. Martin, Hon, and from one very special person, Mommy. Kathleen touched countless lives with her optimism, grace, and commitment to creating a better life for those in need. Kathleen married Scott Martin in Shakopee on July 20, 1991.

They eventually created a beautiful life in Oak Park, Illinois. They were blessed with Anna, the light of their lives, on July 19, 1998. After achieving a Degree in Psychology and Family Sciences from The College of St. in Saint Paul, Minnesota, she went on to fulfill her dream of becoming a Doctor of Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in December, 1998. Her Pre- and Post-doctoral training was received from the Department of Psychiatry, University of Chicago.

Her love of research and teaching led her to create Martin Consulting, where she trained doctorate-level clinicians and researchers in diagnosing autism. She brought energy and enthusiasm to the development of H.A.V.E. Dreams, Inc. (Helping Autistic Voices Emerge). As a Clinical Psychologist on staff, she counseled families to understand, mourn, and adapt to their diagnosis.

She shared her knowledge in a way that parents could comprehend the disorder and comforted them with her ability to acknowledge their pain, while not diminishing it. The Kathleen Kennedy Martin Family Forum was established by colleagues, teachers and friends at H.A.V.E. Dreams to pay tribute to this remarkable and talented young woman. They have volunteered to provide a series of workshops for the families of H.A.V.E. Dreams and other families of children with special needs.

Her grace and courage in confronting very serious illness constantly amazed all who knew her. characteristic optimism and zest for life was inspirational. She spoke openly and honestly about ovarian cancer and the need for awareness and a cure. She was an advocate for the NOCC (National Ovarian Cancer Coalition) and raised thousands of dollars in donations.

Kathleen was a wonderful wife and mother. Her true inner strength was demonstrated as she provided many nurturing opportunities for Anna and Scott despite the chemotherapy that was taxing her body. She was blessed to be married to Scott, who cherished and supported her from the day they met. spirit will live with them as they carry on together. Anna will inherit a beautiful legacy because of her gentle, loving and honest nature.

Her Oak Park her dear friends and family in Minnesota, and her colleagues will forever be changed by her spunk, her delightful wit, and her love of life. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. Jerry and Myrtle (Brown) Downs of Stillwater, MN. Surviving him are his widow, Eva, daughter of former Pastor G. W.

Sanstead of Christ Lutheran Church Marine on St. Croix, MN; his children, Karen (Bob) Murphy of Hermantown, MN, Jeff Downs of Duluth, Tim Downs of Minneapolis, and Amy (Brett) George of Lakeland, MN; grandchildren, Jerod, Amanda, and Blair Murphy, and Casey and Samantha George. Also surviving him are his brother, Jerry (Jane) Downs of San Antonio, Texas; his sister, Jeanne Downs-Luebker of Stillwater; twelve nephews and nieces, and twelve great nephews and nieces. John and Eva lived in Two Harbors, MN for over 40 years. He was Director of Music for Secondary Schools in Two Harbors, Minnesota, until his retirement.

He and Eva always enjoyed traveling throughout their marriage, and have spent winters at their home in Winter Haven, FL, since his retirement. Wherever John went, he made new friends because of his friendliness and sense of humor he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Helen was born and raised in Bertha, MN. She came to the TC as a young lady working at the Armour meat packing plant in South St. Paul. She next worked for many years at Brown and Bigelow. She married her life-long friend, Robert, and supported him through all of his endeavors.

She became a nurse working at Lake Ridge Nursing Home and later privately for the elderly in their homes. Helen helped raise many children, as well as four of her own. She had a big heart; and worked behind the scenes fundraising for the Silver Spur Saddle Club and later crocheting lap robes for the hospice in Texas, where she called home for several years. Helen is remembered for her sense of humor, her devotion to family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 11, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from the Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart in Faribault.

Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Morristown, MN. Visitation will be at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Thursday from 7:00 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church. The parish prayers will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Helen Mary Kratt, the daughter of Fred and Freda (Mueller) Kratt, was born on July 8, 1926 in Morristown, MN.

Helen was a 1944 graduate of Morristown High School and attended the Minneapolis Business College. Early in her life, she was active in the Professional Business Women's Organization serving as local president and was active at Sacred Heart Church and School in Faribault. She was employed by Rice County in the Register of Deeds office and later as a legal secretary for the late John Coughlin. She is remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by three children, Steve Roell and wife, Aleen Waters of Plymouth, MN, Mary Morgan of Henderson, NV, and Veronica Sperling of Boulder, CO; three grandchildren, Nicholas Roell, Jason Sperling and Brian Sperling; sister, Janelle Vikla and her husband, Ernie, of Faribault; nephew, Mark Vikla, and nieces, Gail Solem and Lisa Schmitz and their families; cousins and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2nd husband, Fred Morgan; 1st husband, Elmer Roell; and son-in-law, Matt Morgan. Williamson Dr. Harry P. Williamson, DDS, age 90, St. Louis Park, MN, passed away June 6, 2004.

He was 98. Victor was born in Wisconsin, with early years in North Dakota and South Dakota, and then 40 years in Minneapolis before retiring to Arizona in 1972. He and his wife Edith moved back to Minneapolis in 1995. Edith died in 2001, and Victor moved to Eau Claire in 2003. For 32 years, he was Minnesota state sales representative for the Webster Division of McGraw-Hill Book Company and enjoyed his work selling school textbooks.

An active leader in promoting professionalism in that field, he was national president of the Professional Bookmen of America. He was a graduate of St. Olaf College and a Navy veteran of World War II. In retirement, he was heavily involved in the United Nations Association and served as president of the Arizona division. He and his wife were also activists with Habitat for Humanity, UNICEF, the League of Women Voters, and their church.

Victor was preceded in death his wife, Edith; three brothers and a sister, and a grandchild, Kristin (Mandel) Roy of Minnetonka. He is survived by a sister, Esther Bonnicksen of Seattle; sons, Mark (Arlene) Dahl of Scottsdale, AZ, Charles Dahl of Minnetonka, MN and Kirk (Cindy) Dahl of Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren, Kristian (Julie) Dahl of Virginia, Jon (Beth) Dahl, Bryan Dahl and Stephen Dahl of Minnetonka and Emily (Kevin) Willems, Jefferson Dahl and Alexander Dahl of Eau Claire, WI; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Marissa, Michaela and Sarah Dahl of Virginia, and Nicole Dahl, Shawn Roy and Cullen Dahl of Minneapolis. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 16 at Werness Brothers Funeral Home, 3500 West 50th Street, Minneapolis, with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM.
