COLORADO 134 Men Killed Deer Hunting Over Nation Chleago, Dec. annual deer hunt approached Its end this month with at least 134 sportsmen dead from gunshot wounds or other accidents of the trail. AHho complete figures were not yet available, It was estimated Monday that more than 600,000 hunters took to the woods in sixteen states, and that they bagged more than 275,000 deer.

Reports from hunting districts thru- out the country showed both deer and hunters were plentiful In 1938. Christmas Council Held on Monday by College Camp Fire At the closing Council Fire of the Fall Quarter Training Course In Camp Fire Girls' Leadership, held at Gunter Hall, Colorado State College-of Education, on Monday, carols and candle ceremony carried out the Christmas theme. Minute talks on' Camp Fire were given by the members of the class and Mrs. Margaret Morris LaSalle gave the count or history of the class.
