Friday at Greater Saint Mark Primitive Baptist Church. A native of Tallahassee, she was a former member of St. James M.B. Church, where she was a former member of the Mothers Board and choir. She was a member of Greater Saint Mark Primitive Baptist Church, where she was the oldest church mother.

He was born in Lesi, Austria and came through Ellis Island at the age of six and moved to Illinois.

He worked as a machinist for 25 years at Westclox, a clock factory, and then moved to Florida. He was in business with his sons for many years. He had lived in Tallahassee with his son and daughter-in-law for the last 15 years, and had been retired for thirty years. He. is survived by two sons, Ronald G.

Bozik (73) of Melbourne Beach, and Maynard L. Bozik (67), of Tallahassee; two daughter Sandy Bozik and Angie Bozik; 11 grandchildren; and 20 greatgrand children. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Wright Nicholson of Dallas.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at Salem United Methodist Church on Havana, with burial at Nicholson-Freeman Cemetery. He attended Havana High School, served as president of his senior class, and graduated at 16 years of age in 1943. As past president of Texas State Rifle Association, he tried to lead in a direction that would reach the organization's potential.

He served six years since retirement on the National Rifle Association board of directors. He was a state certified concealed handgun instructor and taught classes at the Dallas Pistol Club since the inception of the CHL in 1995. After service in the Navy in World War II, he graduated from the University of Florida in 1949, and an avid supporter of Gator Nation sports. His career began with the Florida Forest Service and culminated with 40 years of service with International Paper Co. Other survivors include two children, Elizabeth A.

Nicholson of Tampa, and Mark D. Nicholson of Denver, three step-children, Susan S. Townsend and Sherry S. Lee of Mobile, and Stephen L. Small of Rincon, and two sisters, Doris Bert of Havana, and Mary Ann Rigby of Litchfield, S.C.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Malcolm and Ann Carraway Nicholson; and a brother, Paul Nicholson, all of Quincy. Mr. Sprunger was a native of Berne and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the First Mennonite Church of Berne. Other survivors include two daughters, Susan S. Vodicka of South Miami and Sandra S.

Howard of Tallahassee; a son, Wendell J. Sprunger of Los Angeles, a sister Verena Sprunger of Berne; and two granddaughters, Sarah and Georgia Howard of Tallahassee. Mr. Sprunger was preceded in death by a son, Sherwood S. Sprunger Jr.

Tony Hunter trapped nuisance alligators for the state of Florida starting in 1978 until he was unable to pursue his passion any longer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman whose love for these sports and the outdoors will be carried on through his family and friends. He lived life with a passion and a purpose to protect the outdoors for all to enjoy. He left us with many memories and a new found respect for life. Your journey is complete, but will live on in the lives you have left behind.

He leaves behind his devoted and loving wife, Anna M. Deknes WINTER HAVEN Robert A. Deknes, 85, died Monday, July! 9, 2007, due to respiratory failure. He is survived by his wife, Martha Deknes of Winter Haven. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. EDT Friday at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven (863-293-2133).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a hospice of your choice. Born July 16, 1921 in Bridgewater, he moved to Winter Haven in 1947 with his wife, Martha. They married in January 1945 while both were in the service. Robert was the first medical lab director at Bond Clinic in Winter Haven, and worked there until his retirement. He was a member of AMT, FSMT, FSAMT, FILA, American Legion Post 8, Winter Haven, Honor Guard Post 8, and was Methodist by faith.

Mr. Deknes served during World War II and Korea as an Air Force navigator, first lieutenant. He is also survived by four children, Robert A. Deknes Jr. of Clermont, Judith Deknes of Winter Haven, Melanie (and Greg) Gay of Winter Haven and Deborah (and Mike) Tatum of Lake Wales; six grandchildren, Ashley (and Errett) Rush, Richard A.
