Mrs. Edith Collins of Greeley, became tho bride ol Elmer Cogburn, Sunday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E.

Shotwell. The Rev. Irvin Inglls performed the single ring ceremony amid tho bouquets of mock orange bios- Eoms and sweet peas decorating tho home. Pink and whito were dominant In the color scheme. The couple was unattended.

The bride wore a dark brown net dress with white accessories and her corsage was a gardenia. At the reception which followed the ceremony little parasol-shaped favors filled with colored rice were presented to the guests. Tho wedding cake had a miniature bride and groom ornament on tho top of it. Tho couple loft immediately after the reception for a wedding trip to Yellowstone park. Mrs.

Cogburn is the daughter Mr. and Mrs, J. E. Shptwoll, 1210 Sev entii avenue. She is a graduate Greeley high school and CSCB for two -years.

For the past two years she has been an operator at tho Greeley telephone exchange. Mr, Cogburh is the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. A.

Cogburn of Gilcrest and is a graduate of Greeley high school. He attended Colorado University for two years and then went to New York university law school Xrom which ho was graduated. He practiced law in' New York state for a year before returning to Greeloy, he is now practicing. Attending the wedding were Messrs, and Mesdames Ralph L. Peterson of Denver, R.

E. Shotwell, Billie Reid, Shotwell, and Mrs. C. R. York, all of Greeley; filbert Cogburn, Earl Cogburn, P.

A. Cogburn, Cullen Hildenbrandt, Miss- June Cogburu and Miss Hazel Cogburn, all of Gllcrest. Brother from Sweden Guest of Mrs. Albertina Erickson 0 Monn of Gothenborg, Sweden is visiting his sister, Mrs. Albertina Erickson of 1902 Eighth avenue.

It is the first time that tho brother and sister have for 48 or since Mrs. Brlckson left Sweden with her parents. Mr Monn is making a partly round- the-world trip. He crossed the Atlantic and thru Panama, canal coming from Snn Francisco to Groeley. He Will yislt another brother in Pennsylvania before returning to Sweden.

Mrs. Erickson Is planning to accom pany to visit their brother. Mrs. Erickson still has-a vivid recollection of seeing the ravages of the Johnstown flood, May 31, 1889, -when her family lived there.
