Hi and Mrs Martin Jessup of Omaha were Sunday visitors in the Jack Stessman home. The Robert Assmann family were dinner guests Sunday in the Mel Langenfeld home at Council Bluffs. Mr and Mrs Clem Haberberger were dinner guests Thursday in the Alva Honk home at. Woodbine. In the afternoon, they visited Mrs Marie Vandemark of rural Woodbine.

Mrs John Assmann attended the Catholic Daughters meeting and Christmas gift exchange Thunsday evening at Earling. Mr and Mrs Leo Kenkel of Earling were supper guests Sunday in the Elmo Evans home. Saturday afternoon Brenda, Belinda, and Benita O'Day visited their grandmother, Mrs Ernie Buff at Dow City. Mrs 'Kenneth Johnson visited her mother, Mrs Frank Springer of rural Woodbine on Sunday afternoon. tMr and Mrs Alva Treft were Thursday evening visitors in the Walter Summerfield home. Thursday Sirs Burdette Poldberg accompanied Mrs Dale Andersen to the Immanuel Lutheran hospital in Omaha while Dale Andersen submitted to surgery.

The Sharon Straight Shooters 4-H club held a Christmas party and pot-luck supper at the Wilfred Jensen home Thursday night. There were 32 members and families present. Michael's Church in Harlan with Rev. Lavcrn Wingert as celebrant. Mrs Conrad moved to Harlan as a young girl with her family, the Adam Carlyles. She was married in 1917 to- William Conrad.
