Pvt. and Mrs. Donald Mum rived in 'Britt Sunday from Ft Smith, Ark, where he completed 16 weeks of basic training. Next week both Pit. and Mrs.

Miss Dorothy Schaff, a college friend of the bride, played the wedding preludes and marches and accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Richard Thompson, cousin of the bridegroom, who sang "Because," Love You Truly" and "Always." The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of bridal white Chantilly lace over satin and nylon marquisette. The fitted bodice was fashioned with long tapered lace sleeves.

The full skirt of nylon marquisette extended into 2 full length train. Tre fingertip veil of nylon tulle as attached to a band of tulle trimmed in orange blossoms. She carried 3 shower bouquet of red roses with a detachable corsage and baby pom pons tied satin showers. Mrs. Elmer Wessels.

a friend of the bride, was matron of honor. She was attired in an aqua taffeta gown and carried a colonial bouquet of yellow and bronze mums with 2 matching headdress of mums. Miss Arlet Cherland of Burt. also a friend of the bride, was the bridesmaid, and wore an identical gown of coral taffeta. Attendants for the bridgegroom were his brother, Eugene Smith, and Carroll Carlson.

Ushers and conclelighters were Harlan Carlson, and Louis Rice of Mason City. Judy and Janet Johnson, twin daughters of Mr. and Drs Chester Johnson of Kananha. were flower girls. Ringbearer was Gary Robb of Clarion A reception for 125 guests was held in the church parlors following the wedding.

Glenn Russell, Mrs. Richard Tesdahl and Jirs. Lawrence Espe. Bliss Ivadelle Daleske of Eldora, college! friend of the bride, had charge of the guest book. The bride is a graduate of the Clarion high school and State Teachers College at Cedar Falls, and is a member of Kanawha public school faculty.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the Kanawha high school and recendly was discharged from the U. He spent 12 months in Korea and is now engaged in farming. After a wedding trip the couple will live in Kanawba. Air conditioning was installed in the White House in 1932.
