81NNOTT nOCTOft Miss Madonna Slnnott. daughter Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sinnott of ieorgetown, was married Saturday lorning, June 14, to Carl E. Proctor, on of Mr.

and Mrs Howard Proctor Unionville. The Rev. Harry Ryan read the ouble ring service, which was fol- jwed by the nuptial mass, at St. utrick's church. Georgetown.

Steven Sinnott, brother of the ride, and Francis Sinnott, her ousin, served as acolytes. The altar was decorated with oring bouquets. Wedding music was by Mrs. John effron. Paul Flattery sang "Ave tana" at the Offertory and Miss 'live Susin sang "On This Day, eautirul Mother" at the Comi union.

Given in marriage by her father, liss Sinnott appeared in a gown of ndal white satin with long fitted eeves. a shnred basque bodice nd cathedral train. A cuff of white itin edged the sheer yoke of the utton-down-the-back bodice. A ti- ra of seed pearls held her finger lace-edged veil of illusion and je carried a bouquet of red roses. Miss Helen Bellis served as 'idesmaid.

Her frock was nile -een over matching satin, and she mied a bouquet of yellow gladi- is. She wore a matching pictuie it. Linda Proctor, niece of the groom, ore a blue net frock and she cared the train. Margaret O'Brien, usin of the bride, wore a blue itin dress and matching mitts, ic earned the rings on a satin pil- w. Both little guls woie blue sweis in their hair.

John F. Sinnott, brother of the ide, was best man, and Geoige i'an and Joe Craig were ushers. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. nnott wore a navy flowered crepe ess, and Mrs. Proctor wore blue PIRDOS S.

G. NEWTON Tuned and Repaired Illingworth's Jewelry East Side Square Albia crepe. Both wore corsages of white carnations. Immediately following the wedding ceremony a three-course dinner was served at the Sinnott home. A three-tiered cake served as centerpiece on the bride's table.

About 70 relatives and friends were present. Mr. and Mrs. Pioctor left in the late afternoon for Yellowstone Park and other points of interest in Hie west. For her going-away tiip Mrs.

Proctor chose a black and white dress with cap sleeves, and white accessories. They have established residence near Blakesburg. ERVIN KASTER Miss Waneta Ervin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ervin of Centerville, and Dale Raster, son Mr.

and Mrs. Virgil Raster of Albia, were married at the Methodist parsonage in Centerville the eve( ning of July 7 by the Rev. P. J. Ackman.

Miss Marilyn Hopkins of Centerville and Donnie Raster of Moravia attended the couple. Miss Ervin's dress was of pink walfle weave with white accessories and her attendant, Miss Hopkins, wore a dress of yellow nylon. Mr. Raster is employed by the Maytag Company at Newton, where the couple will make their home. Honor Mrs.

Louis Bettis of Albia route 1 in celebration of her birthday anniversary July 9 A in Mrs. Bettis' honor was served at the Bluebird Cafe. Plan Meeting July 28 A meeting of the Bluff Creek Bluebirds 4-H club held at the home of Judy Larson. Roll call. "My Favorite 4-H Subject," was answered by Nellie Reed, Elaine Shepherd, Marilyn Sullivan, Alice Bain. Janice Stewart. Martha Verwers and Janice Sullivan.

Also present were our leaders, Mrs. Junior Kietzman and Mrs. Frances Mellick, and two visitors from Mahaska county. Marilyn Sullivan was appointed to buy the Historian's book, and we disc-used making the booth for Achievement Day. We decided to buy the flags and gavel.

We also had a discussion on the television program we had seen. Judy Larson and Nellie Reed gave a team demonstration on painting picture frames. Elaine Sullivan talked on home safety and fire prevention. Alice Bain and Janice Stewart gave a demonstration on refinishing furniture. Martha Verwers gave a demonstration on an article being made over and improved.

We decided to have a local achievement day July 28 at the home of Nellie Reed. It will be an all-day meeting. Obituary Women's Group Meets At Harris Home-The A of Service Chapel will meet Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. at the home of Mrs Clvde Harris. Mrs.

John Burr Hattie Burr, youngest child of the late John O. and Mary Robinson, was born near Albia, Iowa, July 25. 1888, and died in Des Moines July 8, 1952. She is survived by her husband, John Burr, of Des Moines; a Sister, Mrs. Etta Long and brother, Albeit Robinson, both of Albia; and a niece.

Mrs. Willis Hill of Ottumwa. A son, Johnnie Mack, preceded her in death in 1920. Mrs. Burr was graduated from i Albia High school in 1906.
