Grandparents are Robert C. and Joanne Plante of Oshkosh. Nicholas Matthew Potratz, son of Jessica Ann and Matthew Brian Potratz of Oshkosh, was born on Nov. 13. Grandparents are Leo and Agnes Potratz of Oshkosh and Roger and Joan Zentner, also of Oshkosh.

Kaitlyn Marie Rhodes, daughter of Elizabeth Rhodes and Joshua Roche of Hortonville, was born on Nov. 25. Grandparents are Nancy and Randy Roche of Hortonville, Russell and Michelle Rhodes of Neenah, and Deida Clark of Rhinelander. Sawyer Alexandra Smith, daughter of Kelly and Sean Smith of Sophie Lashock, age 88, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2001, at the Sunnyview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton. She was born on February 2, 1913 in the Township of Mecan, Marquette the daughter of Michael and Martha (Kryzenski) Bartol.

She married Sylvester Lashock on May 27, 1941 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Dorotha M. "Dot" Peterson, age 75 of Oshkosh, died Monday morning November 26. 2001 at Oshkosh Medical Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 29, 1926 in Sterling City, Texas, the daughter of George and Erie Ann (Blavelt) Helms.

Dot married William C. Peterson on June 18, 1960 in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1982. Dot was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Her great Anthony W. 'Bill' or 'Tony' Roemer, age 76, of the Town of Saxeville in Waushara County, died Sunday Nov.

25, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on April 25, 1925 in Waupaca, son of the late Anthony Mabel (Stevenson) Roemer Sr. He married Gloria Mae Nehring on November 7. 1953 in Poy Sippi.

Bill was a former Town Clerk for the Town of Saxeville. He served on the Wild Rose School Board, enjoyed collecting and restoring tractors. Bill was a Virginia A. Freund, 82, formerly of 82 Third St. in Fond du Lac and currently a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home died Sunday, November 25, 2001 at the home.

She was born in Fond du Lac on August 13, 1919, the daughter of John 0. Lynch and Alma Gross. On June 29, 1946 she married Edwin P. Freund at St. Joseph's Church in Fond du Lac.

Virginia graduated valedictorian from her class in 1937 from St. Mary's Springs Academy. She graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in elementary educa- Sandra Ellen Stoddart, age 59 of rural Redgranite, Town of Leon, died suddenly early Sunday morning, November 25, 2001 at her home. Sandra was born April 28, 1942 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Henry E. and Grace Mike Pownell.

She married Lawrence H. Stoddart on October 3, 1998 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville. Larry survives. Sandra was raised in Oshkosh and Westfield and was a 1960 Graduate of Westfield High School.

She had lived in Wisconsin Rapids and Wild Rose, before moving to her home in rural Redgranite. Bill is the beloved husband of Dorothy Thornton. Funeral Services for Mr. William Thornton will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christi in 1 Redgranite.

The Rev. Dorothy HecknerMendonca, Pastor will officiate. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in the Foster Road Cemetery, Redgranite. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

She was born in Oshkosh on September 3, 1924, to the late Albert and Mae (Eyers) Reichenberger.

On September 14, 1946, she married Clarence Matsche. Dolores was a member of the St. Pius Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Clarence, her son, David, and daughter, Janis, both of Appleton; brothers Gilbert (Leona) Reichenberger and Kenneth Reichenberger, both of Oshkosh, and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, La Verne Reichenberger, and a brother, Norman Reichenberger.

The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2001, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette with Father Mark Vander Steeg officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff of Cherry Meadows for their kindness in our time of need.

He graduated from Northwestern College in 1939 and from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1942. He married Eunice Stern on October 19, 1944 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, St. Paul, MN, sharing 56 years together before her death April 13, 2001. He served as a tutor at Michigan Lutheran Seminary, Saginaw, for two years and served congregations in Cataract, Onalaska, Sun Prairie, and Baraboo.

Following retirement, he worked as a visitation pastor at Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Peter Mazurak, Hortonville; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Alice Toepel of Oshkosh: four grandchildren, Karl and Pamela Mazurak and Elizabeth and Andrew Toepel; a sister, Irmgard Block, Waukesha; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law: and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister, Dorothea Toepel, and two brothers, Paul and Martin. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev.

She taught elementary school for five years in Sheboygan and was a substitute teacher in the Fond du Lac parochial and public school system for 26 years. She was very active in the Democratic Party and worked the polls for years. Virginia is survived by one son, Dave and his wife Lynda Freund of Lafayette, IN; four daughters, Kathy and her husband Reimer Pertsch of Unterwaldenhausen, Germany, Elaine and her husband Don Ford of Marengo, Illinois, Jean and her husband Mark Felker Roemer of Oshkosh, and Caroline and her husband Greg Bruce of Pace, Florida. She is further survived by seven grandchildren; Kurt and Chris Pertsch, Jason and Nathan Freund, and Rochelle, Robert, and Ryan Bruce. She is also survived by her sister Georgene Frank of Racine and her daughter-in-law Jane Martineau of Lancaster, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin, and one son, Joseph Freund. Visitation for Mrs. Freund will be held on Wednesday evening from 4-8 p.m. at Sandra Ellen Stoddart as a Closing Specialist in the Loan Department at Anchor Bank of Oshkosh. Sandra was a member of St.

John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville. She enjoyed her grandchildren, golfing, line dancing, and playing the guitar.
