Mr, and Mrs. Will Burley entertained relatives Tuesday evening. Frank Hardy butchered last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs.

Will Burley, Joe Burley and family, A. 0. Brandt and Will Hardy attended the funeral of Spear Swinehart Monday. The funeral of James Spear Swinehart was held Monday in Logansport at the undertaking parlors of Killian McCloskey. Services conducted by Rev.

Dunn. He was laid to rest in Jit. Hope -cemetery by the side of his and daughter. Mr. Swinehart spent most of his life in Noble township, Cass county Ind.

He was an old soldier and served three year's in the war. In the year, 1900 he went to Rugby, N. and improved a claim, and in 1913 went to Mondak, Montana, and took another -claim and improved it. Mr. Swinehart at one time was a member of the Shiloh i church and has many friends in the Frank Myers and family have been olripr generation in this vicinity.

Mr. Kahler is not very well. Quite a number of Mrs. Chester U-'il- son's Sunday school classmates called on her Thursday and look her presents. Some went last Thursday, owing to the cold, not very many were there.
