I NATIONAL ROAD TRAVELER THURSDAY, NATIONAL ROAD TRAVELER HI.Y Lincoln Hi-Y was represented the State Older Boys' conference at Terre Haute last Friday and Saturday by the following boys: George Cohee, Robert Denny, Max lig, Harold Kinnaman, William Roettger, Jack Butler, James Carpenter, Donald Lamberson and two adult leaders, Supt. Robert Gilbert and Paul Lamberson, sponsor. More than 600 boys from all parts of the state were overnight guests in Terre Haute homes. The main speaker was Dr. Glenn Fryc of Benton Harbor, and the song leader was George Campbell of Cincinnati.

In addition to speeches and song sessions there were several discussion subjects, such as "The United Nations as Basis for World Peace," "Careers Ahead," "Racial Problems," "Boy Meets Girl," apnaiity Development," "What Col lege Should I Attend?" and others. The general theme of the conference was "Are You Gojng Our Way?" SCHOOL REMODELING Because of labor shortage during the past few years, it has been impossible to redecorate the schools according to schedule. However, it now seems advisable to redecorate as much as possible during the winter months when painters can be obtained.
