Banquet Facilities For All Occasions Cocktail Service, Banquet Room Only '2 bypass set for' 83 Grading contracts for the Highway 21 bypass project in the town of Algoma will be let early this coming spring, according to Charles Ryan, director of the Green Bay office of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The bypass will be a four-lane highway built from the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 41, Oshkosh. The new road will stretch about 2.5 miles west of the intersection. Following the grading, construction on the road will begin after contracts are let. Completion is slated for sometime in the fall.

Cost for the new road is estimated at $2.5 million. The bypass is located approximately one-quarter mile south of the existing Highway 21. Ryan added that right-of-way for the bypass is still being purchased, but the DOT has few remaining to be bought. All homes and buildings in the bypass route have been purchased and the people relocated. vt In Oshkosh at the Intersection of Hwys.

Neenah Supervisor Richard Olson, chairman of the judiciary committee, said the committee will discuss the purchase at a meeting scheduled for 1:30 p.m., but may stick to the original order. The committee voted unanimously to accept a low juote of $9,424.40 per squad car for the sheriff's department. Both had originally been charged with burglary, a felony, in the May 11, 1982, incident.
