Lawrence College Faculty Busy In Summer Vacation APPLETON Lawrence Col. lege faculty members are spending their summer vacations doing research work, attending summer school sessions and traveling. Farthest away from home is vice president Marshall B. Hulbert and Dr. Donald Schneider the anthropology department who are in Africa on an assignment of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest.

Dan P. Cole, of the religion department, will participate i in the excavation of the Old Testament schechem in Jordan. The project is co-sponsored by Drew and McCormick Seminary is directed by G. Ernest Wright of Harvard Univer- Twin Cities Deaths Mrs. Zita Ely NEENAH Mrs.

Zita M. Ely, 73, formerly of 323 W. North Water Neenah, died Saturday afternoon at. 5:10 p.m. at Pleasant Acres where she resided for the past four months.

Her death followed a short illness. She was born in Menasha Jan. 9, 1889, and had been a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Sanctuary Society of the church and Women's Catholic Order of Foresters.

She was the widow of the late Edward T. Ely. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lee. F.

Freund, Neenah, and Mrs. Richard Rohloff, Glen Rock, N. two sons, Edward Ely Neenah, and Joseph A. Ely, who is serving with the US Armed Forces in Germany; a brother, Joseph Monaghan, Neenah; a sister, Mrs. Marcella Delaney, Neenah; 10 grandchildren three great Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

at Kessler Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, Menasha, the Rt. Rev. Msgr.

Joseph J. Ahearn officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m.

Monday where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. that evening. Louis Fhlug NEENAH Louis Fhlug, 72, formerly of 502 Caroline Neenah, died Sunday at Theda Clark Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born June 28, 1890 in Brothertown, and had been Neenah resident the past 37 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Anna Reetz, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Emma Jensen, Malone, Wis. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Westgor Funeral Home, with the Rev.

Harvey E. Norenberg officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Mrs. Louis Buenger NEENAH Mrs. Louis Buenger, 71, of 1011 Henry Nee- nah, died this morning at Theda Clark Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born May 10, 1891, in Wittenberg and was a Neenah resident since 1914. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband and one brother, Simon Samuelson, Green Bay. Funeral services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Westgor Funeral Home, the Rev. Kenneth R. Bliss officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Clarence C. Cottrell NEENAH Clarence C.

Cottrell, 75, of 414 Second Neenah, died at 12:35 a.m. today at Theda Clark Hospital, after a long illness. He was born March 30, 1887 in McDowell, and had been a Neenah resident since 1929. He retired from Lakeview Division of Kimberly Clark in 1952, and was a member of the First Methodist Church and Peshtigo Masonic Lodge. Survivors ar his wife.

Clara: a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Rothlesberger, Neenah; two step-daughters, Mrs. State Boehm, Neenah, and Mrs. Jerome Panske, Oshkosh; a son, Bobbie, Neenah; two stepsons, Lawrence and Marvin Lambert, Neenah: two brothers, Robert, Carlock, and Eugene, Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Ninemires and Mrs.

Ella Sporrer of Pontiac, a grandson and a great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Methodist Church, the Rev. Guy Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Tues- day at St. Mary Catholic Church, Stockbridge, for Martin E. Schomish, 52, Town of Stockbridge clerk, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home Saturday. Calumet County Coroner LeRoy Hughes said, Schomish was striken while he was working in his yard. Survivors include his wife, his mother, one son, five daughters, one sister and one grandchild.

Henry E. Krause APPLETON Henry E. Krauof 931 E. Franklin Appleton, died at 2:35 Sunday morning after a short illness. He was born in Appleton on March 26, 1885, and lived in that city all his life.

Employed at Railroad Express Agency for over 40 years, he retired 12 years ago. He was a member of the Congregational Church, Moose Lodge, and Appleton Historical Society.
