Bouquet, DD, officiating. Mr. Pertain died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday following an illness of one week-. Born Sept.

17 1913, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he attended Colgate University from 1931 to 1934, received his BS degree from New York University in 1935 and his master's degree in 1938. He was married to the former Jane Mark in December of 1941. He was secretary-treasurer of the Appleton Wire Works from 1955 until the time of his death, had formerly served as secretary of Northern Paper. Mills in Green Bay and assistant controller of the Menasha Corporation. At the time of his death he was vice president and secretary-treasurer of the Outagamie Corporation, a director of Albany International executive vice president of the Fox Valley Corporation and a director of the First National Bank of Neenah.

He was a past president of the Appleton YMCA, a former member of the Neenah board of education, member and former elder of First Presbyterian Church and maintained membership in the Masonic and Shrine Orders. He was a veteran of WW II. Survivors are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Tina) Anderson, Mrs. Murray (Ellen) Chalmers and Miss Linda Pertain; one Mrs.

Olaf M. Logetty of Sun City Center, and five There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established for Theda Clark Hospital or First Presbyterian Church. The Westgor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Oshkosh Mrs.

Clara B. Foulk Mrs. Clara B. Foulk, 84, died Wednesday at 8 a.m. at Mai-son Six of Theda Clark Memorial Hospital, Neenah.

She was born in Oshkosh on Jan. 8, 1890, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Rodat, and was married in December, 1930, to Edward Foulk, who preceded her in death in December, 1965. An active golfer in the Oshkosh area in earlier years, Mrs. Foulk was a Florida resident and spent her summers in this area. She was a member of Butte des Morts Country Club, Ap-pleton, Riveriera Country Club and Colonial Palms Golf Club, Miami.

There are no immediate survivors. Services will be held Friday at 8:30 p.m. at Secfeld-Ru-minski Church Avenue Chapel, with the Rev. Lynn Scovil, pastor at Plymouth Congregational Church, officiating. Cremation will follow, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.

Anna Hostettler, Oshkosh; two brothers, Joseph of Appleton and Norman of Racine; eight grandchildren. The Rev. Daniel Habeck will officiate, at funeral services at Martin Luther Church, Oshkosh, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Appleton Walter F. Kottke APPLETON Walter F. Kottke, 71, of 327 W. Eighth died early Wednesday morning following a lingering illness. He was born March 8, 1903, in Appleton, and had been a life resident of the city.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic and operator of Trading Co. member' and past president of the Appleton Quarterback Club and a past advisor to the Viking Bench. Surviving in addition to the widow, Claire Rossmeissl Kottke, are three sons, two brothers, six sisters and three grandchildren. Funeral services at 10:30 a.m.

Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church will be followed by entombment at Star of Hope Mausoleum. Halford was born March 27, 1922, in Appleton, the son of George and Mayme Halford. He married Gertrude Doherty on June 15, 1943, in Mosinee. He was superintendent of the finishing department of the Nekoosa-Edwards Paper Mill, where he has been employed the past 22 years. Mr. Halford was clerk of the Tri-County School Board.

He was also a member of the Wisconsin School Board Association and Plainfield Knights of Columbus. He was a former member of the Hancock Village Board, fire department and Lions Club.
