Officers arrested him and brought him to Salem, where he spent several weeks in jail. He was indicted by the grand jury, but the judge let him cff on a promise to be good Shortly after leaving the jail, he was returned. charged with stealing a bicycle from Dr. H. E.

Wilson of Centralia. After being again indicted by the recent gand jruy, Tony was lucky enough to escape a term in the Pontiac Reformatoy. Instead, he was ordered sent to the St. Charles School, where bad boys usually grow up to become good and useful men. Prisoners at the jail are glad that Tony has been taken away.

Recently he atetmpted to set fire to the building. There will be a box supper at the Christian church, on Wednesday night, Nov. 5th, 1913. There will be a good program rendered and a good time in general, everybody is invited to attend. The ladies who do not bring boxes will be charged 25cts admission.

The Jones family will be present to entertain you. Come and have a good time. Com. Christian Church Motes Have a Good Time The church at Cartter will begin a revival meeting on Monday evening at 7 o'clock, and on Sunday morning at the usual hour. Aged 29 years 7months and 29 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Blossom- Jordon, December. the 4: 1906. To this union were born three children: 2 boys and 1 girl Helen Louise, Horas Leon, and Carlos Gordon. About two years ago he united with the court 153, the tribe Ben Hur in Centralia.

He was once a member of the M. E. Church South, but had fallen away, though in his last sickness he proffessed hope in Christ. He leaves a mother Mrs. Sarah Bell, his wife and three children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his untimely departure.

Funeral'services were conducted form the M.E. church south at 2:30 p. m. by the pastor A. Cox, interment in East Lawn cemetary.
