He was an auto mechanic and served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by two daughters, Daisy Jean Carter and Gloria Jean Sharp, both of Tallahassee; three brothers, Luther William Seay of Dallas, Texas, Arthur William Seay of Alford, and Charles Lynwood Seay of Marianna; four sisters, Bernice Thompson of Alford, Macy Hollings-worth of Dallas, Mildred Tharpe of Telogia, and Emma Odom of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
