Neveau paced Oregon's attack with four hits in four trips to the plate while Retzloff and Grams had two hits each off losing pitcher Irv Stone. Stone and Bill Carver each had two hits to lead Red's.

Dick Wahlgren picked up the shut out win for Oregon. Arnie Pitt drove in three runs with two hits while Dave Thompson had two runs batted in in leading Judy's Gin Mill to its win over Klinger's. Jim Ziar-nik swung the big stick for Judy's, collecting three hits, including two triples. Doug Jero-vetz pitched a six hitter' for Judy's.
