THE RECORD Submit items to "Yes" desk, 322-8889 THE DESERT SUN -Tuesday, December 17, Marian Ann Zurier, 67, retired flight attendant Funeral services were held Monday for Marian A Ann Zurier, 67, of Palm Springs. Mrs. Zurier, a native of Red Oak, Iowa, died Saturday at her home. She was a retired flight attendant for American Airlines and a member of the American Airlines Kiwi Organization, Los Angeles Chapter. She was also a member of the Dusty Wings, Desert Chapter and the Desert Chapter of Brandeis University National Woman's Committee.

Survivors include twin sons, John David Zurier of Berkeley and Mark Adam Zurier of Redondo Beach: two daughters, Abby Ellen Zurier of Bel Air and Kerry Jane Zurier of La Jolla; two sisters, Katheryn Wecker of Bannockburn, and Carolyn McDermott of Boygan Lake, and two brothers, Dr. George Kerrihard of Tucson, and Thomas Kerrihard of Oklahoma City, Okla. Burial was private. The family suggests donations to The American Cancer Society, 42- 460 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage 92270, or Brandeis University, National Woman's Committee, 650 N. Cahuilla Road, Palm Springs 92260.

Rodolfo Quevedo, 35, of Oasis, Mexico native Funeral services for Rodolfo Quevedo, 35, of Oasis will be at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Soledad Catholic Church in Coachella. Mr. Quevedo, a native of Mexico, died Friday at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio.

He worked for Richard Bagdasarian for four years. Survivors include his wife, Norma: two daughters, Cecilia Quevedo of Tulare and Ive Quevedo of Mecca; three sons, Rodolfo Quevedo Jr. of Mecca, Rodrigo and Felipe Quevedo, both of Tulare; his mother and father, Jose Felipe and Ermina Victorina Quevedo, both of Mexico: five sisters, Hermelinda Quevedo of Mexico, Bertha Quevedo and I Irma Quevedo, both of Los Angeles, Leticia Quevedo of Tulare, Trinidad Quevedo of Delano; and three brothers, Eluterio, Gilberto and Raul Quevedo, all of Mexico. Burial will be at the Coachella Valley Cemetery. Jane Glace, 90, native of Connecticut, buyer Funeral services for Jane Glace, 90, of Palm Springs will be at 9 a.m.

Wednesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palm Springs. Mrs. Glace, a native of Hartford, died Saturday at Manor Care Nursing Center in Palm Desert. She was a millinery buyer for Bullocks Department Store and a member of the Catholic Daughters of St.

Theresa Church. Survivors include a son, Richard Cyril Glace of Bermuda Dunes; two daughters, Frances Mary Vogel and Patricia Ann Masters, both of Palm Springs; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Wiefels and Son Funeral Home in Palm Springs. Burial will be private.

Harry Korn, 79, native of Indiana, manufacturer Funeral services for Harry Korn, 79, of Palm Springs, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Mr. Korn, a native of Indiana, died Saturday at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs. He was the owner of Nork Manufacturing Co.

Survivors include his wife, Belle; and two sons, Steve Korn of Manhattan Beach and Don Korn of Penfield, N.Y. Mr. Kiele, a native of New York, died Friday in Indio. He served with the 55th Naval Construction Battalion during World War II. He worked for the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles, where he was supervisor of bonds and investments for 43 years.

He was a member of Hollenbeck Masonic Lodge No. 319, where he served as master. He was an inspector in Masonic District 544 for more than 20 years and was a member of the Palm Desert Lodge No. 826. Survivors include his wife, Norma; a son, Robert Kiele of Reseda; a daughter, Christine Bucher of Orange; four grandchildren; and four sisters.

Wanda Hall Tucker, 70, senior managing editor Memorial services for Wanda Hall Tucker, 70, of Palm Desert will I be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Religious Science Church of the Desert in Palm Desert. Mrs. Tucker, a native of California, died Sunday in Palm Desert. She was the retired senior managing editor of the Pasadena Star News.

She worked as a free-lance writer until her death. Survivors include her husband. Frank R. Tucker Sr. of Palm Desert; a daughter, Nancy Tucker Baker of Mammoth Lakes; a son, Frank R.

Tucker Jr. of Yuma, a sister, Virginia Twohy of Palos Verdes Estates: a brother, Norman Hall of Merritt Island, and three grandchildren. John V. Brown, 38, employed in finance Memorial services for John V. Brown, 38, of Palm Springs will be held at his home Jan.

19. Mr. Brown, a native of Pennsylvania, died Wednesday at Hollywood Community Hospital. He was a graduate of St. Vincent College in Pennsylvania and worked with financial institutions in the Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles areas.

Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Brown of Florida: four brothers; and three sisters. He was 89. Scott, whose career led him from the Broadway vaudeville stage to talkies in the 1930s, was one of the first singing cowboys.

His film "Rio Rita." made in 1929, was the first musical cowboy film ever made. He also made a series of Mack Sennett comedies. SCOTT Longtime friend Gene Autry remembered Scott as "the opera singer that could sing country and cowboy "He was a great man and a great singer," Autry said Monday. "He had a wonderful voice and I thought he did very well in the movies. We sat around the hotel and chewed the fat a lot.

I'll miss him very, very much." According to daughter Brenda Scott, an album of songs "'The Golden Corral," was released in Novernber on Teru Records. "'This was a lifetime project," she said. "'The album is a compilation of songs and music taken from the reels of his 22 films. It was a labor of love." His films include: "Rangers Roundup," of the Fearless," "Songs and Bullets," "Knight of the Plains" and "Rodeo He was the recipient of the Golden Boot Award in 1988, an award started by cowboy star Pat Buttram in 1984. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Brenda Scott of Palm Springs and Helen Valeur of Idyllwild; eight grandchildren; and two great -grandchildren.
