D. Clifton, ovmef, Area Lebanon; Victory Prince, ridden The trustees of Dukes Miami Coun ty Memorial Hospital met in special session at noon Monday an adopted a revised proposed budge for next year.

The budget represents a seven cent decrease over the 1956 request for tax money. The trustees approved a budge last week that asked for the sam amount of money as they did las year, which included eleven cent for the cumulative building fund. However, last Friday, the conn ty officials advised the trustee, that it was too late to advertis for the building fund and the would have to wait until next year The original budget figures show ed cents for operation of th hospital and 11 cents for the builc ing fund. The amended budget now shows aproximately nine cents necessary for the operation of th hospital for 1957. The trustees agreed that certain further improvements should made to the hospital next year an the difference between nine cents and five and one-half cents represents the amount which the trustee request for additional rnents to the hospital.

improve The trustees stated Monday tha they fully anticipate that the oper ating cost of the hospital win be held in line during 1957, and tha the 1958 budget will only be slight ly increased over 1957. The differ ence, the trustees explained, wil be attributed to a request for an accumulative building fund to be used in expansion of the hospital Wins Permanent Trophy Mark Thrush of Peru, won the permanent trophy for his third con sdcutive win for his entry at the 14th annual Saddle Horse Show hel( at the 4-H Fair Grounds north Peru Sunday.
