Easton, Robert H. Cincinnati, OH: Bob succumbed to cancer at the age of 82 at his new home in Cincinnati, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his spouse of 58 years, Christel Easton; his sons Derek (Beth) and Kirk (Andrea); grandsons David, Alexander, and Samuel and step-granddaughter Sophia. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Hester Easton, and his brother, Kenneth Easton Bob was a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, served in Vietnam, and retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. He then joined the faculty of the Rochester Institute of Technology where he taught a wide range of civil engineering courses during a 27 year tenure. He was a Life Member of the American Society of Engineers, and retired from RIT as Professor Emeritus in 2005. A private service was held in Cincinnati.
