This fog, or low cloudiness, -extended over tne greater portion of the coastal valleyc during the morning, and also reached inland to the central valley.

Similar weather la expected on Sunday with fog prevailing along the Coast during the entire day and In the valley during the morning hours. Temperatures are ex pected to cnange Out slightly duniK the next 24 hours and possibly some slight warming win occur inland on Monday afternoon. The highs overV the inland areas were for the most 'part in the 80's today, and readings in ihe 50 and 60's were common along trie Coast. National During the pAst 12 to 24 hours most of the precipitation across the Nation was observed irt the vicinity of the Great Lakes, the Mountains and in lesser amounts in the Rocky Mountains. Precipitation in attendance with thunderstorm was locally heavy with amounts above one inch.

Generally, the totals haves-been small. Elsewhere across the Nation! the weather has been mostly fair. Temperatures were lower over California yesterday and slight falls were recorded over much of the 'southwest.
