She was born in Birmingham, and had lived in Hartford for the last 22 years. She was a member of 1 Christ Temple Church of God in Christ where she was a member of the Gospel Chorus, the YWCC and the Ministers' Wives Auxillary. She is survived by her husband, Elder Ervin Arnold; three daughters, Carla Williams, Tammy Williams and Sharon Willams, all of Hartford; a brother; two sisters; three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Friday, 11 a.m., at Christ Temple Church, 790 Albany Hartford, with burial in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Born in Hartford, son of Edward J. and Mabel (Drake) Burgie of Bloomfield, he had lived in Windsor for the last 22 years. Before his retirement this year he was a member of the Hartford Fire Department for 27 years. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran a of St.

Gabriel's Church, Windsor. Besides his wife and parents, Mr. Burgle Is survived by four sons, David Burgie and Kelth, Burgle, both of Windsor, Burgle of East Hartford and Andrew Burgle of Willimantic; two daughters, Mrs. Cynthia B. Peluso of Glastonbury and Mrs.

Brenda Vannler of Suffield; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy B. Phillips of Wethersfield and Mrs. Judith Sinclair of Windsor; and six grandchildren, Funeral will be Friday, 9:15 a.m., from the Carmon Funeral Home, 6 Poquonock Windsor, with a mass of Christian burial, 10 a.m., in St. Gabriel's Church.

CLIFFORD. Alta (Clement) Clifford, 87, formerly of Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, wife of the late Jack Clifford, died Monday (May 25, 1987) at McLean Home, Simsbury.

She was born Oct. 28, 1899, in Simsbury, and had lived in Simsbury most of her lite. She was employed Ens as an executive secretary at of Simsbury for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Simsbury United Methodist Church, Simsbury Historical Society, a member and on the board of the Simsbury Visiting Nursing Association, a member of the Simsbury Cemetery Association, where she was director for 16 years. She Is survived by several caring and loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Clement J. Clifford; a niece and a nephew. Funeral service will be Thursday, 2 p.m., the Simsbury United Methodist Church, 799 Hopmeadow Simsbury, with the Rev. Douglas F. Verdin and the Rev.

ESAK. Mary Rose (Bertussi) Esak, 65, wife of Peter Esak, of Hopewell Road, South Glastonbury, died Monday (May 25) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, she had lived in Glastonbury all of her life. She retired two weeks ago from the Quality Nameplate Glastonbury. Mary was a member of the AARP and the Seniors Center of Glastonbury.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Peter Esak of Charlestown, R.I., and Gary Esak of South Glastonbury; a daughter, Mrs. George (Lynn) Jr. of South Glastonbury; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Maggl of South Glastonbury; and four grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, 9:15 a.m., from the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, followed by a mass of Christian burial, 10 a.m., in St.

Born in New Britain, he was a lifelong resident of the Hartford area. Prior to his retirement in 1973, he was employed by the First National Stores Inc. for 42 years, He was a member of the Asylum Hill Congregational Church, Hartford. He was a World War I1 Army veteran and a member of the Disabled American Vet- erans. He is survived by a son, Stephen G.

Ogren; a daughter; Judith S. Ogren, both of Wethersfield; a brother, Everett Ogren; and a sister, Ruth Ogren, both of Rochester, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Thursday, 10 a.m., at the Newkirk Whitney Funeral Home, 776 Farmington West Hartford, with the Rev. Dr. James L.

Edward I H. Sickman 76, of 616 East Ludlow, formerly of Springfield, husband of Gertrude (MacBride) Sickman, died Monday (May 25) at Mercy Hospital. He was a retired clerk from Mass. Mutual Life Insurance Co. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Edward H.

SOBEL. Beatrice (Solomkin) Sobel, 69, of West Hartford, widow of Charles R. Sobel, died May 21 at a local convalescent home. Born in Hartford, she had lived in the Hartford area all her lIfe. She was the retired owner of the former Bib's Shoes in West Hartford Center.

She was a member of Temple Beth Israel of West Hartford, past president of Temple Beth Israel Sisterhood, a past president and treasurer the New England Federation of Temple Sisterhoods District No. 1, a former board member of the Women's Auxiliary of Mount Sinal Hospital, Temple Beth Israel and the Hartford Section of the National Council of Jewish Women, a former vice president of the New England Region of the National Women's Committee of Brandels University, a former treasurer of the Hebrew Home and Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and a former treasurer and trustee of the Larrabee Fund Foundation, Active in the Technion and Brandeis auxiliaries, She is the beloved mother of Andrew C. Sobel of Ann Arbor, Donna S. Cowan of Boston, Amy Lynn Sobel of West Hartford and the late Rabbi David M. Sobel; sister of Stanley Solomkin of Pembroke Pines, Mrs.

STASZKO. Mykola "Mike" Staszko, 63, of West Road, Colchester, died Tuesday (May 26) at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Ukraine, June 19, 1923, son of the late Nicholas and Katherine Staszko, and was employed as a mechanic for the former Schuster Express Trucking Colchester, for over 35 years. He was a member of the Willimantic Ukrainian Club, Teamsters Union Local No. 443, St.

Joseph's Polish Club, Colchester, and St. Mary's Ukrainian Church, Colchester, Mr. Staszko was married Nov. 18, 1945, In Germany, to Anna Dankiw. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Meron Staszko of Colchester and Nicholas Staszko of Lakeland, two daughters, Mrs.

Mary Spiwak of Live Oak, and Miss Jetty Staszko of Colchester; two brothers and three sisters in the Ukraine; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews in the Ukraine. Funeral service will be Friday, 9:15 a.m., from the Belmont Funeral Home, 19 Main Colchester, followed by a mass, 10 a.m., In St. Mary's Ukrainian Church, Colchester. "Skip" Satriano, 39, of San. Francisco, beloved son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Satriano of Wethersfield, died Sunday (May 25, 1987) after a long illness.

He was a graduate of Wethersfleld High School and Fairfield University. He was employed at Pacific Bell computer analyst. Besides his parents, he leaves a sister, Carol Satriano of Milford, and a sister and brother Beth and Wayne Cappellucci; two nleces, Kristen and Melissa Cappellucci, and a nephew, Michael Cappellucci, all of Hartford. Funeral service for Leonard E. Nolan, 75, of Dutton Road, Colchester, husband of Lila (Sylvester) Nolan, who died Friday (May 22, 1987) will be today (May 27), 2 p.m., at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Simsbury, with the Rev. Robert S. Hundley officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, East Granby.

SWINDELLS. Margaret Swindells, widow of Edward Swindells, of Bellewoods Drive, Glastonbury, died Tuesday (May 26) at Hartford Hospital. Born In Bloomindale, she moved to Glastonbury a year ago. She was a retired bookkeeper for a bank in Illinois. Mrs.

Swindells leaves two sons, William E. Swindells of Glastonbury and Douglas R. Swindells of Wheaton, a daughter, Susan B. Hornat of Bloomingdale, a brother, Richard Rathe of Wheaton, Ellzabeth Fischer of Atascadeter, and seven grandchildren. Funeral service wilt be Saturday, 10 a.m., in the Martin Funeral Home, Roselle, Ill.

Burial will follow in Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmburst, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, 3-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 670 Prospect Hartford 06105. BUDREJKO. Jane (Domijan) Budreiko, 67, of New Britaln, died Monday (May 25).

Born in New Britain, she was a lifelong resident and attended New Britain schools, graduating from New Britain Senfor High School. She was employed by Stanley Tools for 17 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the Stanley Seniors and the New Britain Senfor. Mrs. is survived by a son, Steven of Meriden; three daughters, Elizabeth Kubas of Avon, Ruth Washcalls of Bristol and Joanne Colwick of Lebanon; three brothers, Henry, Frank and Joseph Domijan, and a sister, Ann Abramczyck, all of New Britain; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, 8:30 a.m., at the Burritt HIll Memorial Funeral Home, 332 Burritt New Britain, followed by a mass, 9:15 a.m., in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. FORGEY. The Rev.

Dr. Wallace Forgey, 85, of Cromwell, retired minister and professor, husband of Vida J. (Lingley) Forgey, died (May 25) at Middlesex Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in St. John's New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Ferdinand and Mary (McCauley) Forgey, and had been a resident of Cromwell for the last six years.

He received his BA deBD and S.T.M. Andovergree from Acadia University, his Newton Theological School and his DD from Colby College in 1952. He did graduate work at Harvard, both in the Graduate School of Education and the Divinity School. Rev. Forgey was a pastor of the First Baptist Church, Charlestown, from 1930 until 1938, and served as pastor of the First Baptist Church, Melrose, for 15 years.

In 1954 he became director of fleld work and professor of pastoral theology at the Andover-Newton Theological School, Newton Center, Mass. He was a director of the Massachusetts Council of Churches and a trustee of the Andover-Newton Theological School. He retired in 1967 and served as interim and guest pastor at churches in Connecticut, Vermont and Massachusetts. Besides his wife, Rev. Forsurvived by two daughters, Beverly F.

Hamrah of Rocky Hill and Janet M. Forgey of Manchester; two grandchildren, A. Scott Hamrah and Sharon L. Hamrah; and several nieces and nephews. A brief memorial service will be held Sunday (May 31) at the First Baptist Church, Middletown.

Eugene Leo Forest, 65, of 56 Montague Circle, East Hartford, died Ho Tuesday (May 26) at Hartford Hospital. He was born Fitchburg, and had lived in East Hartford for many years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the National Tool Cam Co. in New Britain for 15 years. He was a U.S.

Army veteran of World War and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, East Hartford. He leaves his wife, Phyllis (Aker) Forest of East Hartford; a daughter, Mrs. Marle Carpenter of Ayer, a sister, Anita David of Fitchburg, and five grandchildren. A memorial funeral mass will be Saturday (June 6, 1987), 9:30 a.m., at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 36 Cambridge Drive, East Hartford. Burlal will be at the convenience of the family.

Main Stafford Springs, died Tuesday (May 26) at a convalescent home after a long illness. He was born In Stafford and was formerly employed as a foremen at Cyril Johnson Woolen Mill and a dispatcher for the Vernon Police Department and Troop Stafford. He was a member of Wolcott Lodge. Mr. Greaves is survived by two sons, Robert Greaves Jr.

and Richard Greaves both of Stafford; seven grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Kalloch of Rockland, Maine, and Mrs. Joanne Latham of South Portland, Maine; and a stepson, Roy F. Proulx of South Portland, Maine. Funeral service will be Thursday, 2 p.m., at Tocchetti FUneral Home, 200 W.

Main Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Home and Hospital, Wallingford. GARRY, Faye (Kaplan) Garry, 73, of La Mesa, died Thursday (May 21) in California.

She was the wife of Benjamin Garry of La Mesa, Calif. She was born in Rochester, N. March 12, 1914, daughter of the late Harry and Sadie Kaplan. Besides her husband, she survived by a son, David Kaplan of Orono, Maine; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Joan) Libby of West Hartford; and four grandchildren.

FUneral will be 1 p.m., from the Driscoll Mortuary, 138 Migeon Torrington, with Rabbi Howard Herman of the Farmington Jewish Congregation officlating. Burial will be in the Sons of Jacob Cemetery, Torrington. Memorial services will be held at the home of Mrs. Joan Libby, 2 Wiltshire Lane, West Hartford, HOLMES. Marion C.

(Dawkins) Holmes, 48, of Spokane, formerly of Hartford, died Saturday (May 23) at Deacon Medical Center, Spokane, Wash. She was born in Hartford and had lived here all her life prior to moving to Spokane, in February this year. She is survived by a son, David Holmes of Spokane, two daughters, Tammy Holmes and Lori Belanger, both of Hartford; her mother and stepfather, Lillian and Thomas Oppelt of Hartford; three brothers, Otto Dawkins of Hartford, Thomas Dawkins and Robert Dawkins, both of West Hartford; two sisters, Betty Drew of Hartford and Patty Liistro of Forestville; and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday, 10 a.m., at the FisetteBatzner Funeral Home, 20 Sisson Hartford. Interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.

Arthur Purcell Horan, 66, of 22 Westmoreland Drive, West Hartford, died Tuesday (May 26, 1987) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. A Hartford native, he was son of the late Francis Horan and Agnes (Purcell) Horan. He was for many years a close political associate of former U.S. Senator Abraham Ribicoff, serving as an aide on his staff throughout his years as governor and U.S.

senator. From 1976 to 1981 Mr. Horan was in charge of Rib1coff's Connecticut office. He had also served as an aide to former Gov. John Dempsey, During a long career he worked for many years as member of the Connecticut State Police Department and was a consultant to the Connecticut General Life Insurance Co.

During 1940's he was a broadcast Journalist. He was educated at Emerson College, Boston, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Horan was also active in various civic organIzations and was a member of the West Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals.

He leaves his wife, Eileen (Sullivan) Horan of West Hartford; four sons, Brien P. Horan, Esq. and John C. Horan, both of West Hartford, and David P. Horan and Brendan R.

Horan, S.J., both of New York, two brothers, Frank P. Horan of Hartford and Leo P. Horan of Sarasota, and several nleces and nephews. Funeral will be Friday, 10:15 a.m., from the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington West Hartford, with a mass of Christian burial, 11 a.m., in St. Timothy Church, West Hartford.

Evelyn L. Keeney of Dunedin, died Friday (May 22). She was born Hartford, moving to Florida In 1974 from Paramus, N.J. Survivors included her husband, Albert; a son, Gary of Clearwater, two daughters, Charlene Maneri of Mays. Landing, N.J., and Linda DeAngelo of Clearwater, two grandchildren.

KEITHLINE. Dolores (Sullivan) Keithline, 78, of West Tomstead Road, Simsbury, of the late William W. Keithline, died Monday, Memorial Day, (May 25, 1987) at Hartford Hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1908, in Hartford and had Jived in New Haven and Worcester, prior to moving to Simsbury 40 years ago.

She was a graduate of Hartford Public High School and the American Institute of Banking. She was a realtor and building contractor in Simsbury for many years prior to her retirement. She was an officer and very active member of the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of the Hopmeadow Country Club and a member of the Board of Realtors. Mrs. Kelthline was also a Gold Star mother.

She is survived by son, Atty. W. Wilson Keithline; a daughter, Ann K. Scriber of Marblehead, and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Lt.

Richard Ward Kelthline. Funeral will be Thursday, 8:15 a.m., from the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Simsbury, followed by a mass of Christian burial, 9 a.m., In St. Mary's Church, Simsbury. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Tariffville, Her family will receive friends at her home, 16 W.

Tomstead Road, Simsbury, today, 4-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Simsbury Visiting Nursing Association, 8 Old Mill Lane, Simsbury 06070. KOSKY. Richard P. Kosky, 48, of Sweetbrier Road, East Granby, died Monday (May 25, 1987) at home.

He was born Jan, 29, 1939, in Worcester, son of Florence (Greene) Kosky of Worcester, and the late Peter Kosky, and had lived in East Granby the last 22 years, He was a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, class of 1961. He was employed as an engineer at Combustion Englneering In Windsor for 20 years. He was a member of the East Granby Congregational Church. Born in Limestone, Maine, he had lived in the Greater Hartford area for 40 years, the last 24 years in Vernon. He was the owner and operator of Showcase TV and Appliance Rockville, for 15 years, retiring in September, 1986. Mr. Richard was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Rockville, and served with the U.S.

Army during World War Besides his wife, he Is survived by a daughter, Gloria Derbabian, and her husband, Vahan Derbabian, and a son, Paul D. Richard, and his wife, June Richard, all of Vernon; two brothers, Roland Richard of Meriden and Armand Richard of Niceville, and two sisters, Mrs. Cecile Joyce of Wethersfleld and Mozzicatto of Middletown. Winschel, died Monday (May 25) Middlesex Memorial Hospital, Middletown, after a long Illness. She was born in Ivoryton, May 10, 1930, daughter of the lafe Nazzareno and Cesira (Burnaccioni) Barbarest, Prior to her Illness, she had been employed as office manager by the Moeller Instrument Co. of Ivoryton. She was a member and past officer of Ibell-JacobsonSmith Unit 61 American Legion Auxiliary of Deep River, past two term president of Middlesex District American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the No. 8-40 Shalom Chapter American Legion Auxillary, and held several state level offices of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was also church clerk, a member of the board of trustees and fellowship chairwoman of the Winthrop Baptist Church, and also a member and membership chairwoman of Winthrop Cemetery Association. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Irving E. Zwingman of Madison and Edward Zwingman of Deep River; a daughter, Cheryl Zwingman of Hamden; a stepson, John Winschel of Westbrook; a brother, Frank Barbaresi of Ivoryton; three sisters, Rosalle Trabucchi of Chester, Mary Arrigoni of Higganum, and Susan Griffith of Old Lyme; and a granddaughter, Katie DeGraff.
