Klein was owner of Stanley's Men's Store in Paramount and Rosemead. He was a former member and president of the Kiwanis Club of Paramount and member of the Palm Springs Kiwanis Club. Mr. Klein was a veteran of World War I and recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife, Helen M.

Klein of Palm Springs; and two nieces, Shelly Stein of Scarsdale, N.Y. and Jeanne Preston of Sunnyvale, Calif. Memorial services were held Monday at the family nome. The Rabbi Jacob E. Rosenberg, former rabbi of Temple Nove Sholom in Desert Hot Springs, officiated.

Mrs. Northrop is survived by her husband, Everett Northrop of Palm Springs; a son, Robert Northrop of Boulder, a brother, William DeTurck of Reading, and by three grandchildren.
