S1SEP Tutor Hours Change Because of poor, student attendance, the Sitka Native Education Program tutor at Sitka High School has discontinued his.regular hours before school, a news release from the high school staled. Michael Baines may resume these hours as student demand increases.

Baines is still available to assist students with homework or to open the computer room before school by appointment. Students should leave a message for the tutor at the school office. The tutor will continue to open the computer room on Sundays and Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. Interested parents can call the high school office at 747-3263. -The Equipment can be inspected between 8:00 a.m.

The film features 23 poets including Jim Carroll, Charles Bukowski, Amiri Baraka, William Burroughs, Anne Waldman, Tom Waits, John Cage, Allen Ginsberg and John Giorno. Music and motion challenge the standard poetry reading format, making each presentation dynamic, a press release from the Sitka Film Society stated. A CD-ROM of this film is also available.
