SB-Sunday, April 1967 SaUafctflar Brmrirrat Miss Carol Van Aken Is Bride tere tl la I ITfRIGIDAIRE MAYTAG (FURNITURE COMPANY Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sharp of Hetton-le-Hole, County Durham, England will arrive Tuesday to visit their cousin, Mrs. Paul H. Brock in her Golf Terrace home.

This is a return visit for the Sharps, but a first for their teen-age granddaughter, Helen Sharps, who will accompany them. The bride's parents entertained with a reception in the church garden following the ceremony. After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Oppel will make their home on Fernando Drive.

Her watteau train of Chantilly lace and silk illusion was held by a small Dior bow of lace em bellished satin. Her bouquet was of white bride's roses and lilies-of-the-valley. Mrs.

Randall Leavitt Prior of Lexington, Va. was matron of honor for her sister. Another sister, Miss Francie Van Aken, was the maid of honor. They wore identical street length dresses of island green delustered satin with bell shaped sleeves. Their headpieces were tulle veils held with matching green Dior bows and they carried Victorian bouquets of mixed Spring flowers.

Larry H. Vickers Jr. was best man and the groomsmen were Alfred W. Oppel brother of the bridegroom from St. Petersburg; Donald B.

The bride's mother entertained with a reception in the choral room of the church after ceremony.

Among those assisting were Mrs. Roger Handberg, Miss Mary George Whitehead, Mrs. Terrell Lewis, Mrs. Joseph Nahoom, and Mrs. Robert Leckinger.
