Ann Beasely, a student at Florida High was won the Tallahassee Lions Club International World Peace Essay Contest. Miss Beasely received $25 for her essay entitled, "Attainment of World Peace." Photographers from the State Department of Education were at FHS last week to make part of a film for teacher recruitment. The section was to illustrate some of the athletics in Florida's school system, were used in the sports in which they had participated.

Wieteska, who has moved to St. Augustine. We are having a drawing con. test at our school. Pictures will be judged by the art teacher and prizes will be free tickets for the fourth, fifth and sixth grade.

There will also be three free tickets for the first, second and third graders. The Chaires School PTA will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday. Betty Ann Mass went to Florela, Alabama, on Sunday. Virginia and Dean Patterson went to Marianna to see the Caverns on Saturday.
