THE GUN STORE BURGLAR. A Definite Clue Secured to the Smooth Fingered Gent. The burglar who made the raid on the business house of the Akhnrst-Kberly Arms company, on Bunday night, succeeded in getting away with part ot the plunder he had secured when he was disturbed by Night Watchman McClurg. The firm on making an examination yesterday fonnd they were short several fine revolvers and some other goods. Thty estimate their loss at $50.

A clue was discovered yesterday forenoon which will probably lead to the capture of the thief as it is now known be is a Ht. Joseph production. Besides the clue mentioned another slight one was discovered in the shape ot the hat worn by the bnrglar, and which was lost In his rapid flight from the building, after being fired at by McClurg. The hat is a nearly new cady, and bears the trade mark of Fleming ft Goff of Felix street. Besides this contains the initials F.

U. F. on the sweat band. The hat was found lying close to the window from which the robber escaped. It bad fallen behind some goods, which accounts for the police not finding it at the time.
