DAILY TRIBUNE, WISCONSIN RAPIDS FOR THE RECORD TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2010 Police At 4:47 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a water main break near the intersection of Eighth Street South and Airport Avenue. The water was freezing and causing a traffic hazard. At 5:27 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported someone attempted to break into a house in the 500 block of Grove Avenue.

11:26 p.m. Saturday, police arrested a man and a woman after a domestic disturbance. At 12:13 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported two men fighting at Good Time Charlie's, 111 E. Jackson St.

At 8:59 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported someone stole a purse from the 1000 block of 28th Street North. The woman called a second time to report someone found the purse under a coat. At 3 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a woman stole his wallet from Big Oak Road.

At 4:25 p.m. Sunday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported a man pushed her daughter down and called her names. Officers arrested the man. At 7:20 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a vehicle struck a guard rail in the 3600 block of First Street drove away.

At 9:24 p.m. Sunday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported someone stole her vehicle from the 1000 block of Ninth Street South. Officers located the vehicle when a female, who appeared to be drunk, entered the lobby at Sleep Inn, 4221 Eighth St. and said she had run out of gas. Wisconsin Rapids 27th Ave.

S. South, Grand Rapids, then At 8:07 a.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported someone stole a lawn and leaf trailer from Love Street. At 10:51 a.m. Friday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported a vehicle hit her parked car in a parking lot in the 900 block of Riverview Expressway.

At 3:48 p.m. Friday, a caller reported someone stole her wallet from the 100 block of Third Street North. At 3:48 p.m. Friday, officers arrested a 57-yearold man in the 100 block of 13th Avenue South on warrant connected to a theft from a financial institution in Waukesha County. At 4:25 p.m.

Friday, a caller reported a two-vehicle crash in the 1900 block of Eighth Street South. At 2:06 a.m. Saturday, officers arrested a person for drunken driving near the intersection of First Street North and East Jackson Street. At 9:01 a.m. Saturday, an officer arrested a man for a domestic disturbance.

11:11 a.m. Saturday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported someone assaulted her daughter at Wisconsin Rapids Middle School, 1921 Marriage licenses Wood County Nathan D. Grambsch and Courtney J. Ruzic, both of Marshfield, Dec. 3.

Apparent tornadoes ravage parts of southern Wis. MILWAUKEE At least two apparent tornadoes touched down in southeastern Wisconsin on Monday, damaging homes and farm buildings and cutting power to thousands of people, state emergency officials said. Kromm, 78, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at Harbor Haven Nursing Home in Fond du Lac, where she had been a resident for approximately 11 years. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

The Revs. Timothy Wenger and Thomas Graves will officiate. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum. Carol was born in Oshkosh on Nov. 6, 1932, to Arthur and Edna (Luepke) Radloff.

She married R. Richard Kromm on Aug. 16, 1952, in Oshkosh. He died Dec. 20, 1996.

Carol was a homemaker and a loving mother. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Rebecca Circle and was a church teller for many years. She had been a room mother at Immanuel Lutheran School when her children were younger and also was involved with the Parent-Teacher Association. She enjoyed walking, doing embroidery, cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Survivors i include two sons, David (Marcia) of Waunakee and Keith of Oshkosh; one daughter, Judy (Jeff) Niemann of Wisconsin Rapids; three grandsons, Christopher (Lindsey), Kevin and Jacob; one great-grandson, Preston; and four brothers, Roger Radloff, Wesley (Shirley) Radloff, Duane (Sue) Radloff and Dennis (Carol) Radloff, all of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

A memorial will be established by the family at a later date. TAYLOR yOLLERT JENNINGS FUNERAL HOME Robert C. Behrens Robert Charles Behrens, 87, of 1141 Township Wisconsin Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards. Private family services were held.

Robert was born Feb. 8, 1923, in Illinois, to the late Harlan and Ruth (Knaak) Behrens. He married Audrey Long in Illinois; she died Jan. 18, 1988. Robert was employed as a bricklayer in Illinois, and later was a self-employed carpenter, retiring in 1983.

Robert was a member of the Roche-a-Cri Lions Club, Town of Rome Fire Department, and also was a local fishing guide. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, fishing, motorcycles, skeet target shooting and was an avid NFL and Green Bay Packers fan. Robert is survived by one daughter, Jeannine (Mathew) Harn of the town of Rome; two sons, Scott (Pam) Behrens of Wisconsin Rapids and Michael (Mary) Behrens of Hinckley, one brother, Harlan Behrens of Arizona; one sister, Judy (Tony) Stewart of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Audrey; and sisterin-law, Joan Behrens. Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is assisting the family.

Friday at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship. The Rev. James P. McNamee will officiate. Ruth was born May 30, 1918, in Milwaukee, to Herman and Tillie (Jahnz) Weiland.

Ruth married Arthur Lewis in 1943 in Milwaukee; he preceded her in death in 1971. She married Walter K. Imberger Charles E. Charles E. Davis 56, of 455 Tesserville Road, Nekoosa, passed away Saturday, Nov.
