Thursday, 17, MADISON KACI.K Charles Wieland Passes Away MADISON Charles L. Wieland of 23 Redmond drive died Friday at his home after a short illness. The funeral was held yesterday morning from the Burroughs and Kohr Funeral Home to St. Church, where a mass was offered. Mr.

Wieland was born in New York 67 years ago and had resided in Madison 15 years. N.J. Mrs. Wegener Dies After Illness MADISON Mrs. Helen Du Bois Wegener of 9 Glendale road passed away Sunday (December 13, 1964) at Garden Terrace Nursing Home, Chatham, after a long illness. She was the widow of Albert Ben Wegener, physical education director at Drew University from 1914 to 1936.

Born in Lapeer, Mich. 91 years ago, Mrs. Wegener was a 50-year resident of Madison. She was a member of Loantaka Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and former member of the Thursday Morning Club, the Drew Faculty Wives Association and the Society for Christian Service of the Methodist Church. Mrs.

Wegener leaves two daughters, Mrs. Everett F. Jacobus with whom she resided; and Mrs. Mahlon H. Smith Jr.

and four grandchildren. The funeral was held yesterday at the Burroughs Kohr Funeral Home.
