Socially Speaking By Mary Ellen Deter years and have the civic a and social Hate to see them go Sad Parting! participated in activities here. The last day of school in Tallahassee was rather sad for some of the pupils at Sealey Memorial school since they said good-bye to three teachers who have accepted positions at schools in other towns for the next school term. The teachers who will not be back next year are Mrs Dick Bradfords of the second grade, Miss Sarah Lines of the fifth grade and Miss Mary Dodd of the third grade. Miss Lines and Miss Dodd said they are leaving because of the difficulty of obtaining a room with board. Miss Dodd said she to walk as far as 10 blocks back and forth in order to get meals.

This is a good project for the PTA of the school to consider during the summer months. Maybe some of the ingenious members of the organization can solve this problem, which seems to me to be important to the school Speaking of Sealey activities, Harold and Marjory Stewart were host and hostess to their rooms, grades five and two, at their home on the Jacksonville highway at an end of school picnic. A delicious lunch was served the children by the room mothers California Bound! The members of the armed forces aren't the only persons who are busy calculating their points these days! Although the Victorettes aren't interested in being discharged from their organization, they have adopted a point system and the member with the highes number of points will receive recognition at a special affair soon.

Mrs William Macklin, adviser and sponsor of the club, devised a method, whereby all members receive points zor the various activities in which they participate. They will have a large chart in the room where the business meetings are held and in this way each girl will always know exactly many points she possesses. It's a brilliant idea and should Increase interest in club activities Shepard Administers Oath!
